“We’re extremely excited to release our song ‘One Shot’ and finally announce the release date for our debut full-length album, Perla,” shares Prism B!tch. “What once started out as an acoustic voice memo a couple years ago has morphed into a heavy cathartic ballad. As we finessed the song on the road, it quickly became a popular set closer with a wall of sound build-up and dramatic abrupt stop. This song is about the perspective of being a female musician and being taken seriously. There was a measure of uncertainty surrounding our band as we had just left our label and were reestablishing ourselves as an autonomous collective. With an exciting tour looming at the time, we wanted to come out swinging with a confident personal statement. The music video for ‘One Shot’ is an irreverent punk ode to our Southwest upbringing and love for cinema and theater. We were inspired by the visuals of Spaghetti Westerns and old-school music videos that feel like short films. The story follows a humble family trying to avenge the death of their father by striking out into a dark world. It’s the hero’s journey and a reimagining of the myth of the Old West as we’d like to see it.”

Teen Creeps Share New Track “Fall Out”
“It’s probably the most energetic and straightforward song on ‘FOREVER’. We can’t wait to play this one live!”, guitarist Joram De Bock enthuses. He also made the accompanying video himself. “I brought a disposable camera with me to the studio. Those photos are used in the artwork for the album. Inspired by how the designers cut the pictures up, I did the same for this video. Just cutting up the pictures and rearranging them in funny and unexpected ways. Then I made a stop motion video out of it on my phone. Didn’t know if that would work, but I’m happy it did.”

BankrollShell Releases New Music Video “Better Off”

I wrote “Long Distance” on an unplugged, rented electric guitar during a blackout on a night off from an opera gig I was doing in Halifax in the summer of 2019, in tears after a frustrating phone call with my then-girlfriend. We were spending a four month stretch away from each other while I travelled for work. Neither of us were communicating well, and our daily check ins became monotonous. Both of us kept up the charade that we were good, while allowing fear and resentment to build up, which ended up costing us the relationship entirely

In signature Yard Act fashion, “Dark Days” propels frontman James Smith’s striking social observations forward along with steadfast guitar lines and jutting rhythms. Recorded in the same session as “Peanuts” with Ross Orton, “Dark Days” rounds off the opening chapter of Yard Act’s strange lockdown existence before they head off to record their debut album.
K-POP GROUP, CRAVITY, RELEASE 3RD ALBUM
K-Pop boy band, CRAVITY, are jumping headfirst into the new year with the release of their 3rd album, SEASON3. [HIDEOUT: BE OUR VOICE].
