Mark Ambuter New Video For “When it’s Right Now With You and the World”

Pierce with Arrow shares new single + video, ‘Shatter’ LP out 2/19 on Dais Records

The collaborative debut of American minimal techno pioneer Troy Pierce and Colombian audiovisual artist Natalia Escobar aka Poison Arrow was conceived in reverse: first they created a collection of shadowy surrealist videos, then wrote music inspired by them. This inverted process proved remarkably fruitful. Shatter is a simmering, slow-burn noir odyssey inspired by the Greek myth of Echo and Narcissus, traversing subtle shades of sleepwalker dub, metallic lament, broken beats, and erotic negative space. It’s an effectively unsettling evocation of the legend’s core theme: “There is nothing more complex than a shattered heart, or a heart that can’t love.”

Grammy Nominee Hiss Golden Messenger Releases Soulful New Track And Video, “Sanctuary”

“Over the past year, I’ve been thinking a lot about how we care for ourselves and each other, and how hard it is to live truthfully in a world that is so tangled. ‘We sell the world to buy fire, our way lighted by burning men,’ says the poet Wendell Berry. The song ‘Sanctuary’ is one small piece of my own personal reckoning with what it feels like to search for some kind of shelter in the storm. Fare thee well, John Prine, AKA Handsome Johnny, a speaker of truth if ever there was one.” – M.C. Taylor / Hiss Golden Messenger

Caveman Battle Doom Masters CONAN to Release New Live Album

Heavily distorted and down-tuned sounds turn the legendary fields of the German Freak Valley Festival into madness. The undisputed masters of fantastical otherworldly sludgy doom, CONAN, will cast a spell on the listener and propel them straight into the crowd, captured in dust.

Three years after the release of the ferocious caveman battle doom masterpiece Existential Void Guardian, CONAN waves the flag of Pain again and releases Live At Freak Valley on March 12, 2021 via Napalm Records. After their 2013 live album, recorded at Roadburn festival, and the self-released Live At Bannermans, their third live album could not be recorded at a better place than Freak Valley Festival.

MA’s Hush Harding Gets Co-Signed by No Jumper’s Adam22 With New Video “5G”

Quincy MA’s Hush Harding is part of the first generation of rappers brought up on the internet with a focus on clever lyrics and hypnotic melodies. Raised mostly by his mother with a father in and out of the picture, Hush experienced a lot of time unsupervised due to mother working considerably and supporting three kids. “Alot of my motivation comes from that situation” says Hush. Currently he’s apart of a team of musicians called No Muzzle ENT, which he’s used as an umbrella to record many artists, cyphers, battles, and direct videos.

AC/DC CHARGE UP FOR 2021 WITH “REALIZE” MUSIC VIDEO

Co-directed by Clemens Habicht (Tame Impala, Liars) and Josh Cheuse (the bands creative director), the black and white-hued video showcases Angus, Brian, Cliff, Phil and Stevie doing what they do best: rocking out “together.” Confronted with the challenge of having the band in five different locations, the co-directors approached the video as a puzzle, calling on Habicht’s expertise, and pieced each individual performance together to create a cohesive visual that shows AC/DC like never before.

Glitterer Share New Track “Didn’t Want It”, Listen Now

“ “Didn’t Want It” was the first song I wrote for the new record,” Glitterer aka Ned Russin explained. “Despite having no road map for how the rest of the songs would turn out, this track established a lot of the qualities that would be further explored as I continued to write – more present and fuzzed out guitars, minimalistic chord changes, and uncertain, longing lyrics.”

Lake Street Dive to release forthcoming album Obviously March 12

Obviously, the new album from beloved band Lake Street Dive, is set for release on March 12 via Nonesuch Records. His His – Stream “Winter Journal”

Flipping through the notes of an old journal I had written in last winter led me to reflect on getting older and the feeling of being stuck in a grey area between adolescence and adulthood.

My new single is about missing the days when you had less responsibility and expectations to fulfill, as well as losing that sense of innocence which comes with being younger.

Kalbells Announce New LP ‘Max Heart’ Out 3/26

Kalbells—led by Kalmia Traver (of Rubblebucket) with her bandmates Angelica Bess (Body Language), Zoë Brecher (Hushpuppy, Sad13), and Sarah Pedinotti (Okkervil River, LipTalk)—have announced the release of their sophomore album Max Heart, out March 26 on NNA Tapes.

Max Heart explores what happens when we let go of what doesn’t serve us in order to leave space for the blessings that do. The album’s ten vibrant and subtly layered tracks of mesmerizing psychedelic synth pop (co-engineered with Luke Temple) were birthed from the band’s practice of listening and accountability, rejoicing in their queerness, and promoting each other to be their most genuine selves. Max Heart is a portrait of badass women harnessing their improvisational magic.

Pro Era’s Nyck Caution & Denzel Curry Connect Over a BK Drill Beat

He’s usually easygoing, but you don’t want to catch Pro Era rapper Nyck Caution on a bad day. Letting out his aggression with help from Denzel Curry, Nyck Caution shares “Bad Day,” his new single. Tag-teaming atop a sinister drill beat–the kind in vogue in Nyck’s home borough of Brooklyn–Nyck and Denzel display an electric chemistry as they trade rapidfire couplets between sliding 808s. The song is a thrilling display of full-throttle lyricism, each emcee ratcheting up their intensity as they one-up each other with confrontational punchlines: “Guess this is what a stone heart does/I’m a good guy but just wait until I’m charged up,” warns Nyck. “Bad Day” is the latest single from Nyck’s upcoming album Anywhere But Here.

VOYAGER Covers Aussie Modern Classic “This Boy’s In Love” by The Presets

The band comments on the cover: “The Presets song is one of those songs that I heard and thought ‘I wish I’d written this.’ At the time it came out it was so fresh in Australia, and so bizarre that it became so popular because it’s really very much Euro Style Dark Synthie EBM. Given that a lot of Voyager songs start out as electronic ideas, this semi-obscure modern Australian classic was a no brainer to cover. We hope you enjoy!”

Taleban Dooda & T9ine Are Florida Rap’s Chosen Ones

Making waves in the South and beyond with his vocal acrobatics, Taleban Dooda is intent on making 2021 his year. Teaming up with fellow Floridian T9ine for an anthem for the strivers, Dooda shares “Chosen,” his latest single. Produced by Gasky, “Chosen” layers gospel pianos and mournful saxophone atop thumping 808s, creating the perfect canvas for both emcees to open their hearts. The two emcees trade melodic verses, expressing gratitude that their God-given talents allowed them to escape the difficult circumstances of their birth: “It started as a dream to us/They ain’t believe in us/Don’t know what it mean to us/They always leavin’ us,” croons Dooda.

Orla Gartland Shares Candid Single “More Like You”

Fast-rising Dublin singer-songwriter-producer Orla Gartland today releases her candid new single “More Like You,” a confessional account of reckoning with feelings of insecurity and inferiority, when it feels like being yourself isn’t enough. “I heard it from a woman on the internet, she told me to eat well and try to love myself then maybe I won’t wish that I was someone else,” she sings. Following the release of lead single “Pretending” late last year, “More Like You” is another taste of Orla’s eagerly-anticipated, as-yet-untitled forthcoming debut album, due for release this year.

Hedge – “Mellow Days”

It was never Hedge’s plan to do music full-time. And even after his second release, the twenty year old would tell you that he’s not really a musician, but just someone who knows what sounds good.

His DIY-living room music on the other hand sounds anything but unprofessional.

Just like any other kid, he started by producing beats on his computer when he was fourteen years old. After some years of experimenting with sounds, he wanted to finally finish one of his songs. And put it out for people to hear.

A.A. Williams Shares Cover Of The Moody Blues “Nights In White Satin”

Of the track Williams says: “I’ve always been drawn to the vintage textures and beautiful melodies of Nights In White Satin. A simple cover for solo piano and voice, this version focuses a little more on extended harmonic suspensions and on the text, a heartfelt reinterpretation of a 60s classic.”
