Out today on UPRISING! Records: Lotan “Nihil sacrum” EP

Lotan (Leviathan) – The seven-headed dragon and the origin of chaos who began a war against the cosmic order and gods. Lotan is a melodic black metal band from Denmark. Formed by Phillip Kaaber (Vanir) and Martin Rubini (Vanir), and joined by live members; Lasse Guldbæk (Abscission, Vanir), Christian haystack (Fall of Pantheon, Ethereal Kingdoms) and Jon Smith (Ethereal Kingdoms).

Lotan starts today to unleash the first wave of EP´s due to release in 2021, from which “Nihil sacrum” is the first in line. Lotan’s lyrical universe is inspired by a mix between satanic spiritualism and existentialism. The music is melodic, heavy, and aggressive.

Kapuchon & Sven Fields say ‘Ey’

Following last year’s relaunch of Afrojack’s tech house alter ego Kapuchon, the famed DJ/producer now continues this journey with a much awaited new single.

Teaming up with fellow Dutch artist Sven Fields, the resulting ‘Ey’ is a sweet excursion of tech infused grooves, warm basslines and moody vocal snippets. It’s another exciting look into the artist’s ongoing development as a producer, released on the specially created imprint Kapuchon Records. Serpent Lord (GR) New Single “The Gospel Of Judas” & Lyric Video!

One year after their latest release, the Greek heavy metallers Serpent Lord (GR) released a new single, entitled “The Gospel of Judas”. The song is an introduction to a new chapter for the band, which will come with their upcoming album.

As the band states: “The Gospel of Judas” is inspired by the Apocrypha Gospel of Judas, which was found and given to publicity for the first time in 2006. Serpent Lord (GR) presents a different approach on Judas’ character, not as a traitor but as Christ’s favorite student. Judas executes the Divine Plan, in order to lead Christ to his resurrection. However, Judas hangs himself because he felt guilty, which shows, according to the band, that the he was manipulated by God and that’s why he is remembered as a traitor and not as a savior, as he should be.
