Iron Wings – Release New Single “Devil’s Lullaby”
The song is a single from the upcoming album. The main theme of the song is one of Shakespeare’s most famous quotes “Hell is empty and all the devils are here”. The song and the upcoming album form parallels with the already released album “Dzejnieks” (“The Poet”).
The main idea of the song is to make us to think about what we have become in less than a year, when even the closest people and friends in the saturated sea of views lose their humanity and are ready to tear each other apart in the name of only acceptable ideas.
Harry Hains’ Message Lives On A Year After His Passing
Harry Hains (a gender-fluid visionary artist and actor best known for American Horror Story and The OA) was really extraordinary, and we have the honor of working with his family to carry on his legacy. He didn’t believe in gender or labels, so in order to create a word that he wanted to live in, Harry created this project, ANTIBOY, which is kind of an Android living in a future non-binary world with no judgement where people saw each other as just their own inner pure consciousness. ANTIBOY’s message is so important because it sits at the intersection of our culture’s ongoing conversations about identity, gender, race, self-expression and even drug addiction (something that Harry struggled with and ultimately passed from) that can often be a coping mechanism for feeling like an outsider and not “fitting in.” Harry’s personal journey and artistic vision is a pop culture conversation that ties together several crucial issues– human rights, LGBTQ equality, and America’s drug epidemic – which needs to be addressed in a wholistic manner because drug use is so often tied to mental health issues.
For Perth-via-Busselton trio Pretty Uglys, 2020 remained a fairly fruitful year even though the party/live music opportunities elsewhere around the country came to a screeching halt. Out on the West Coast, the band dedicated the year to the preparation of their forthcoming EP Party Friends, releasing two tracks in ‘Soak It Up’ and ‘Dreamland Delusion’ – both further establishing the band as one to watch.
Brian Fennell starts 2021 with new SYML single “True” – out now
SYML, the solo project of singer, songwriter and producer Brian Fennell, begins the year with “True,” a new song out today via Nettwerk Records. Listen here.
Since SYML’s debut in 2016, Fennell has risen to prominence with an acclaimed body of work celebrated for its honest songwriting exploring themes of longing and loss, earning millions of streams across platforms. “True” is a prelude to much more music to come in 2021.
“True love is painful,” says Fennell. “True love fails. True love moves. We have to have faith in it for it to be real, like god. This song is about watching what we thought was true love fall apart. It’s about divorce and making the mistake of thinking you are immune to it. I got to team up with some friends to record this one, including a new friend, Paul Meany, who brought an amazing flavor to the mix.”

Sympl – “One Way Out” New Music Video
For over 20 years, sympL has established himself as an MC, promoter, and tour manager. For years, he worked both in underground hip hop and in edm – juggling heavy touring schedules for years before taking time off to focus on crafting his own beats.
His sound is a combination of 2 worlds. He’s taken the foundations of boombap hip hop and added the growl of bass music. As a live performer, he’d always incorporated both genres – but shortly before lockdowns and quarantines began, he’d taken time to focus and develop his own signature sound.
2020 was certainly a year for the history books — though it’ll be a chapter most of us would rather not revisit. So what were the bright spots in one of the darkest years on record? Thanks to hundreds of thousands of votes on Ranker, we can tell you exactly who and what people loved most during 2020, from politicians, to movies, to video games. Naming him the #1 stand-up comic of all time, Rolling Stone wrote of Richard Pryor: “Pryor was untouchable … If [George] Carlin is the brain and conscience of comedy, Pryor is its guts and heart, and it’s unlikely the man referred to as the ‘Picasso of our profession’ — by no less than Jerry Seinfeld — will ever be topped.”
