Although adopting the name morning Crush in 2019, Tim began busking on highstreets in 2006 and going to open mics at the age of 14. He’s toured the the UK, Europe and USA, at times sleeping rough and living hand to mouth. He regularly speaks out about toxic masculinity, mental health issues and social unrest. In 2015 he has busked for 24 hours straight to raise money for Syria relief, shortly after the UK government voted to invade Syria, and in 2017 for the mental health charity CALM. He also went on a 2 month tour from lands end to John O’Groats to raise money for Overcoming MS with Morning Crush guitarist, Thom Worth. In the summer of 2015 Tim spent a summer on the south coast of Turkey playing for the locals and tourists.

The Jacques have released their debut album The Four Five Three today (Nov 6th) via Modern Sky.
The album is a remarkable collection of songs, which pulls together fuzzy post-punk, romantic and hazy ballads and exemplary pop fests in what is an emotional rollacoster of a record from The Jacques.
The album has been recorded over two years at Rockfield Studios in Wales, London’s RAK Studios, Montmartre in Paris and Morsecode in Glasgow.
Mae has teamed up with a plethora of songwriters and producers to bring her ideas to life for this new collection of songs. The EP encapsulates Mae’s energetic and honest persona, something that has drawn her fans close to her over the past few years, with her frank and relatable lyrics that empower her fans intertwined with contagious pop melodies and production. Featuring previously released singles ‘so annoying’ that saw Mae work with Rick Nowels [Madonna, Lana Del Rey] and Skyler Stonestreet [Ariana Grande, Chainsmokers] and the tongue-in-cheek ‘HFBD’, new additions like the melodic opening track ‘dependent’ sees Mae open up about her personal reservations when it comes to falling in love.

DS Westwood – She tried to run me over with her Bentley…
The song is based on a true story. I was dating this beautiful girl at that time and it was great and then everything went south after a few arguments. And one night I decided that was it i’m done… I left her house in the middle of the night and did not answer any of her calls or texts. A few days later of ghosting her I was about to hop in my car parked on the street. Then she drove by and started swerving towards me with her car. I’m not gonna lie I was scared as hell… Now I think about it and laugh it was a crazy experience. I hope you enjoy my new single and if you can add it to your playlist or share it with your friends that would be greatly appreciated thank you. And yes finally It’s Friday, so have a great weekend and Stay Blessed.

Tomi Agape reveals smooth new single Better, produced by Juls
Today, Alté singer Tomi Agape releases her new single ‘Better’ and announces her forthcoming EP ‘Never Gunna Be The Same’ due out on 11th December via Rah Boy Music. Produced by A-Lister and close friend Juls – who has worked with the likes of Burna Boy, Miraa May & Mr Eazi – ‘Better’ is tinged with Tomi’s smooth vocals, soft strings, and percussion elements throughout.
Of the song, producer and Pique Records co-founder Mountain says, “‘Face 2 Face’ was the very first song Yesh and I started working on when meeting in the summer of 2019, and the last song we ended up finishing for her hour 2147 EP nearly a year later. It started as a look in the mirror at the tension we’ve been experiencing in our communities, and how complex of an experience it’s been to process that amidst the flood of modern daily life.”

Lewis Knaggs “Runaway” (Indie-Rock artist)

Lauren Aquilina returns with new single ‘Best Friend’, out on Friday 30th October.
A melancholic acoustic ballad, ‘Swap Places’ pairs Lauren’s emotion-steeped vocals with delicate guitar strings. Fittingly, the track was co-written by one of her real life best friends Caroline Pennell (Trevor Daniel, Selena Gomez) and produced by Marcus Andersson while they were all quarantined together in LA. It marks her second release in as many months, following October’s ‘Swap Places’, with both tracks set to feature on her forthcoming EP.
Stripping away the immersive wall of distorted guitars and powerful instrumentation prevalent throughout the album, the new EP showcases the band’s diversity as musicians, shining a light on Kiran’s insightful lyricism and evocative vocals, and painting the tracks in a deeply sensitive light.
The EP includes a new take on album track ‘Cinnamon Girl’ as well as featuring ‘Naked’ from the record. It also features brand new songs like lead single ‘Like The Snow We Fall’ and ‘Still’, a stunningly emotive and confessional blend of delicate guitar, soaring vocal harmonies and strings, Naked is a showcase of their varied and virtuosic songwriting abilities.
Directly following his recent release ‘Air Conditioned Gypsy’, its successor finds the alias of actor, writer, and musician Alexander Gold applying his Midas touch for 3 ½ minutes of lustrous harmonies and vintage guitar tones… With a little help from XTC legend Andy Partridge.
Inspired by a tale of fate, changing fortunes and finding yourself at a time when the odds are seemingly stacked against you; ‘Golden Number’ is a song about luck, just when it feels like it’s all running out…
With theatres and gig venues closed, 2020 has been the year from hell for those in the creative arts. And like many creatives Gold found his world suddenly turned upside down.

Video: $NOT – “Who Do I Trust?”
A master of creative cadences and confrontational bars, $NOT knows that he has to be self-reliant to succeed in the rap game. Responding to his paranoia with a fierce determination, $NOT provides a potent election week distraction with “Who Do I Trust?,” his new video. Stomping atop the kind of Spanish guitars that herald a gunfight in a Western movie, $NOT stews over past betrayals, resolving to trust himself and to dole out vengeance against anyone who’d dare cross him: “When I walk, I walk around like I’m a God causin’ hell.” Directed by Unkle Luc, the grainy and colorful video for “Who Do I Trust?” portrays $NOT as an avenging angel, picking up his beretta to enact some street justice with help from a loyal friend. Produced by Donnie Katana, who previously worked with $NOT on his single “Human” ft. Night Lovell, “Who Do I Trust?” is a highlight from Beautiful Havoc, $NOT’s brand new album.
