“Fire In The Veins,” the latest single from Portland-based dark ambient/industrial noise project SCARD, is currently streaming via Captured Howls. The harrowing hymn comes by way of the band’s Rusted Lock full-length, set for release November 6th via Scry Recordings.

SCARD – led by one J. Huston – began in 2001 in Seattle, moving to Portland a year later. Drawing from dark ambient, power electronics, death industrial, and black noise, SCARD combines their personal origins in the forested regions of Oregon with eventual scum of city life to create a harsh, layered, and multi-faceted sound.

Brothers Osborne’s New Album Skeletons Out Today

Today, Brothers Osborne, the six-time GRAMMY-nominated band, release Skeletons via EMI Nashville. For the album, the CMA and ACM-winning duo of brothers John and TJ Osborne teamed up with longtime producer Jay Joyce and co-wrote every track alongside Natalie Hemby, Lee Miller, Craig Wiseman, Casey Beathard, and more. With „Memories”, Mainz-based emo rock group Oh, Heaven release their fourth and last single off their upcoming “Snooze” EP. Similar to their song “Bed”, “Memories” is also a calm song dealing with a sensible theme. While Oh, Heaven showed themselves primarily from their energetic side, “Memories” goes the depressing way and delivers an alt rock ballad about the feeling of forgetting, as singer Gregory explains:

On her new single, Izzy shares, “Originally the song was about a promise that my Dad made to me that one day we would buy an MG. We used to walk past the MG store and he would ask me to pick out my favourite and said we would buy it one day and drive away on an adventure. Celeste Releases New Song and Video “Hear My Voice”

UK soul singer Celeste releases her new song “Hear My Voice” today via Interscope Records. “Hear My Voice’ was co-written with Golden Globe®-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton and is the focus track of the Netflix film The Trial of the Chicago 7, written and directed by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Aaron Sorkin (Molly’s Game, The Social Network). “Hear My Voice,” which is considered to be an awards contender by Variety, along with Pemberton’s score, is one of three original songs performed by Celeste on the upcoming soundtrack release. He started playing Milwaukee’s Cafe Carpe when he was a kid, and 30 years later returned to record Peter Mulvey with SistaStrings: Live at the Cafe Carpe, out tomorrow on Righteous Babe Records. The album features 18 songs recorded over two nights in January 2020.
