Dalizz – “Quiero Estar Contigo”

After sharing her freestyles on social media, Elizabeth L. Ortiz, better known as DALIZZ, is ready to make her indelible mark in Latin music.

The Puerto Rican singer and songwriter made her impressive debut in November, 2019 with her first single “El Candao”, achieving great reception from the press, with exposure and appearances in some of the main national media outlets in the United States and Puerto Rico including Despierta America, Un Nuevo Día, Acceso Total and featured in ‘The Hot List’ of People en Español Magazine (March, 2020 Issue).

So far this year, GRAMMY-nominated UK duo Disclosure have released three singles that went straight for the jugular in three very different ways – the carnival-infused “ENERGY”, the hip house aural assault of “My High” featuring Aminé and slowthai and the current globally unifying and uplifting soundtrack to the sunshine, “Douha (Mali Mali)” featuring Fatoumata Diawara – all of which showcase the versatility and innovation harnessed by these two young, London based songwriters and producers.

The emotionally charged battle-ready ballad pays homage to “fallen soldiers.” TM88 crafts a smooth melancholy beat serving as the melodic backdrop for recent 2020 XXL Freshman Calboy and 18-year-old rising Chattanooga rapper/singer Slatt Zy to go off as they reminisce about their trials and tribulations. The video utilizes scenes from the burning streets of Atlanta, to the bustling highways, and flashing TV screens to paint the picture of “war” felt by all three artists.

“Everyone including myself has lost a lot of good people throughout the years and “War Stories” pays tribute to all of the fallen soldiers we’ve lost to the streets and beyond.” -TM88

Boston indie/pop band Air Traffic Controller new single “Sometimes”

Air Traffic Controller wouldn’t let a pandemic stop the recording of their fifth album. Instead of throwing up their hands, they rolled up their sleeves and took an unconventional approach to finish the first single “Sometimes,” out now.

“I called one of my bandmates over,” frontman/songwriter Dave Munro recalls to American Songwriter. “We did a distanced recording: he was in my driveway in his car with a laptop, and I created a vocal booth in the garage and we got this vocal take done.”

Michael Esposito),” and “Enlacing,” was produced by Clipping, mixed by Steve Kaplan, and mastered by Rashad Becker. Today, Australian dark pop star on the rise, CXLOE, reveals her compelling music video for single ‘One and Lonely’ (out now via Sandlot Records and AWAL Recordings). The striking visual, which premieres on FLAUNT, places CXLOE alone in isolation in a capsule hotel above a busy metropolis city – an all too real-life scenario in our current world situation. At the clip’s climax, CXLOE breaks into hypnotic and captivating dance. Her movement seems to embody a form of release, mirroring the push and pull of the track’s lyrical content.

Porter Robinson unveils new track “Mirror” from forthcoming second LP Nurture

“‘Mirror’ is a song about the costs of being hard on yourself,” Robinson says. “We all have these avatars that we give to our critical inner voices – we might imagine a scornful parent telling us we’ll fail, or a critic telling us our work comes up short, or a society telling us that we aren’t good enough – it’s about recognizing that most of this criticism is self-inflicted. For years, I was imagining the worst thing a critic might say about my music and looking at my own work as negatively as possible as a way to protect myself from criticism, but it never once served me. My hope is that other people can overcome this same kind of shame – it can be really liberating to recognize that most of the time, we’re only letting our own thoughts get in the way, and we can do something about it.”

Letting go of inhibitions, releasing impulses and finding courage to go deeper into yourself through sensations felt with another; this is what “Senses” is all about.”
