Freddie Dredd Makes Mayhem in the Animated Video for “DEVIL’S WORK”

Welcoming listeners into his warped world with distorted bass and ultra-violent lyrics, Freddie Dredd is rap’s demonic trickster figure. Channeling Beelzebub in a visually striking new animated video, Freddie shares “DEVIL’S WORK,” animated by Alex Sarzosa and directed by JetPhynx. Over a Ryan C. production that mixes sliding, subsonic bass under a gravelly groaning sound that evokes a chorus of the damned, Freddie delights in the suffering of his victims. The video takes us straight to hell, as Freddie plays both demon and lost soul, as demon Freddie tries to tempt the human Freddie to sell his soul. With an animation style that splits the difference between Ren & Stimpy, Don Bluth, and H.R. Giger, the “DEVIL’S WORK” video mixes horrific imagery with a sly sense of humor, but be warned…it does not have a happy ending. “DEVIL’S WORK” is a highlight track from Freddie’s recent SUFFER EP.

LA Duo NEIL FRANCES Reminds Us It Is “Tuesday” In The Dog Daze of Summer; Shares New Track & Video

Indie-electronic duo Neil Frances share their carefree, dreamy day-time disco-infused track “Tuesday,” inspired by the monotony of long summer days in a quarantined Los Angeles. The duo is comprised of Sydney-born Jordan Feller and Southern California native Marc Gilfry. Jordan explains, “‘Tuesday’ is another nod to that joyous feeling of 90’s French house with just the right amount of hook and repetition. The creative process on this one was pretty typical for us, Greg (our bassist) and I fleshed out an idea for the groove and then Marc and I worked on the vocal melodies. I called in our drummer Rhythm Luna to track drums so the feel was more human than machine. Then we had our friend Hazel English, who we’ve worked with previously on our song ‘Better Way,’ sing backing vocals for that extra lil bit of spicy sauce!”
