Teejayx6 recruits NLE Choppa and brings the energy in new “Punchin” visuals

Teejayx6 and NLE Choppa made for a compelling duo on their most recent collab “Punchin,” and now they’ve given the track a video that matches its energy.

The Ben Marc-directed video follows the two rappers as they’re training in a gym, hopping in an out of rings and getting into fights. It’s as fast-paced and erratic as Teejayx6’s rapid-fire hook, with plenty of dancing and punches thrown.

CELESTE Shares New Song and Video for “Little Runaway”

Speaking about the new track, Celeste reveals, “‘Little Runaway’ is a song about losing your faith, even if just momentarily, and seeking answers from spirits and ghosts as nothing seems to make sense on this planet. My favourite line in the song is ‘good news I could use some.’ I believe everyone has a guardian angel, a protector, and this is me talking to mine.”

Matt Koelsch, featuring Christie Huff – “Turn Around”

Entitled “Turn Around” the track narrates the romantic tension between two people that connect with each other in a public space and the suspense and fantasy that builds in each of their minds after that initial moment.

Lil Gotit Keeps It Lit In “Crazy Thoughts” Video

Fire and ice: Lil Gotit continues to push trap music forward with his new “Crazy Thoughts” video. Keeping it lit on a dim set, Atlanta’s very own enjoys an intimate evening fireside with a female friend. It’s not all warm and cozy though, with Gotit’s iced out chest and wrist matching his cold rhymes: “You say you a gangster, my name be the culture, therefore you in danger.”

Des Cox releases animated music video for “In My Day”

The main vocal on Des Cox’s new record ‘In My Day’ is the same as was performed and recorded live on the cruise ship the QE2, so recording was pretty basic with none of the modern day technical marvels. Although it is that same live vocal without any gimmicks, the recording places emphasis on the song and its humor, a combination that Des really hopes will now be heard all over the world. His ultimate dream is to see the world to become a nicer, better and more enjoyable place. And so with any luck this song will go globally and make his dream of replacing all the doom and gloom with fun and laughter and those all-important smiles to people all over the world, regardless of race, religion background or whatever, for he really wants us all to be, well… happy!

The anthemic song about her rise to success follows her major label debut BLACK SHEEP mixtape, which includes the hard-hitting “Sidewalk,” “Girls Kissing Girls (Feat. Juicy J),” and more tracks that showcase the Memphis rapper’s unmatched flow.

Glamglare’s Song Pick of the Day: Lolabye by Mima Good

Mima Good sings about times she has laughed to cover up pain. Lolabye begins with Garland yelling, “I’ve laughed at myself when I should have cried”, as a chorus of voices sings “hehehe, oh”. A playful keyboard carries the melody through heavy bass and drums. Good sings about different troupes of femininity she feels subjected to: a kept woman, a doll, a hysterical female, and finally reflects on the experience of being a female bartender. She riffs over singsongy laughter as a synth explodes into a dreamy outro. Mima fingerpicks a guitar and sings a lullaby with sleepy lyrics on love and childhood. We feel like we’re floating on a cloud, ascending above our stressful society and over the rainbow.
