RESERVING DIRTNAPS: Decibel Magazine Premieres “Under Siege” From Memphis Metallic Hardcore Outfit
Recorded at A.B. Recordings in the fall of 2019 by Alan Burcham, long considered an unofficial member of the band, Another Disaster captures RESERVING DIRTNAPS in top form, churning out blast after blast of extremely heavy hardcore. Captured live for maximum effect, the result is a four-song slab of professional level negativity disguised as hardcore. The EP was mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Nails, Integrity) and completed with artwork by Linas Garsys (American Nightmare, Ceremony, World Be Free). Another Disaster also features guest vocals from Patric Gardner of Queensway on the track “Blood On The Walls.”

The Pull of Autumn announces new LP
Art rock collective The Pull of Autumn has teamed up with Orange Cake Mix (a.k.a. James Rao) for their new single ‘Holiday’. This remake of The Bee Gees’ track is a tribute to the 60s with an added electronic element, melding 60s pop into today’s post-rock movement.
Based between Boston and Rhode Island, The Pull of Autumn is a ‘super group’ of sorts, with songs orbiting around Daniel Darrow from Johanna’s House of Glamour and Luke Skyscraper (Fashion), but also involving numerous emerging and notable musicians from the local music scene and from far abroad.

Transfixed by the powerful and eerie blues coming from a steel guitar played with brass slide and dextrous fingers, Faber came across the life-experienced wanderer again the next day and the next, only for his future muse-slash-drifter to leave town just when Faber’s creative cogs began whirring.

Shot in London just before lockdown, the video for ‘Mojo’ sees Aistè fight both a former lover and the organization that pitted them against each other: looking the part as a transfixing incarnation of Killing Eve’s Villanelle, Aistè put her years of Muay Thai practice to use, and choreographed all the fight scenes herself. The short film mixes elements of cult sci-fi and psychological thriller as it reflects the song’s message of breaking free from any restraints, societal and personal, and begin anew.
