Diana DeMuth shares “Into My Arms” single

Diana DeMuth shares her fourth single, “Into My Arms,” today, along with a video featuring Wesley Schultz from The Lumineers. Her debut album Misadventure is due out via Thirty Tigers this Fall, and this new single follows DeMuth’s previously shared singles, “Hotel Song,” “Rose of Nantucket” and “Steady Rolling” — a cover of Two Gallants’ hit.

Produced by Simone Felice & David Baron, the soaring, new single and video was debuted by Relix, who says it’s a “cinematic video to accompany the deceptively lighthearted tune.” Demuth, in an interview with Relix, explains the song is an “ode to what it feels like to free yourself.”

Dan Brown (“Da Vinci Code”): New classical music/children’s book

Aimed at kids in the kindergarten age bracket, the book pairs short poems with fun illustrations of a variety of animals, all of which have their own corresponding track/movement and can be heard through a special mobile app that recognizes the page and automatically plays the matching music. It’s a lovely project that we hope will inspire young people to listen and learn about orchestral/classical music and culture.

Thomas Bartlett, aka Doveman, shares new song; album out this Friday

Today, acclaimed pianist/producer Thomas Bartlett shares a new song, “Multiflora,” from his extraordinary debut solo album, SHELTER, which arrives via Modern Recordings/BMG this Friday, July 24. A collection of eight disarmingly beautiful piano nocturnes – all named after types of roses – SHELTER was written as a love letter to his partner, British actress and singer Ella Hunt, as well as to New York City itself, his home for 21 years. Bartlett recorded the album in his home over two days following the beginning of lockdown. “Multiflora” is available now at all DSPs.
