DANGEROUS HIPPIES (mems of Hinder) debut retro inspired alt pop video “1982”
What’s old is new (and cool) again in “1982”- the latest video from alt-pop pair Dangerous Hippies. The band consists of duo Marshal Dutton and Cody Hanson (you might recognize them as the lead singer and drummer of rock icons Hinder) and leans heavily into their alternative pop songwriting sensibilities. Think Bruno Mars, The Chainsmokers, Maroon 5 and The Black Keys…done by two of active rock’s most prolific songwriters.

Kalen & Aslyn’s debut is out today on Normaltown Records!
“Some of these songs stretch back ten years,” says Aslyn, “and some of them are brand new. It wasn’t something we consciously set out to do, but we ended up recording an album that spans our entire journey together: falling in love, breaking up, getting married, leaving home, coming back. Our whole story is in these songs.”
Ty ThaGod expresses his thoughts with his latest release “Might not make it”
“We all can see what’s going on in America today regarding the black lives matter movement. We all feel the world turn mad whenever an innocent black life gets taken by the police. The majority of America is of an urban ethic with backgrounds residing in the projects and inner-city neighborhoods. The disadvantage one has in this world is unfair to the other races in America. This situation is more than a black and white thing; this is about justice and the perspective of a Black man living in The United States of America.”

Today, Zaliza shares her new single “Below,” the first from her upcoming double A-side single “Below”/”Little Raptures” out August 7th. The Deli premiered the track, calling it “the perfect soundtrack for emotional turbulence and the fear of truly being known by another.” A haunting, captivating expression of vulnerability, writing “Below” came easily to Zaliza. Starting with a poem written about her connection with someone, she immediately found herself lost in the melody once she began to play it through. She brought the voice memo to Clare Moses (Lye Marlow) to produce it, not only because of Moses’ talent as an artist, but also her importance as a friend who helped Zaliza navigate that time in her life.
GREG LISHER’S NEW INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM “SONGS FROM THE IMPERIAL GARDEN” OUT TODAY

LIZA OWEN SHARES FIRST SOLO SINGLE “WHY AREN’T WE HAVING SEX?”
On the track, a dirty bass groove and slick beat give way to a hook highlighted by the most pervasive quarantine question of all, “Why aren’t we having sex?” Her sultry voice takes flight as she delivers an empowered and engaging anthem that’s as flirty and fun as it is fiery. Meanwhile, the music video emanates the same amount of heat. Liza transfixes in a wedding dress and white cowboy hat as the visual intercuts various couples asking and acting on the title’s question. Liza enlisted the help of her friends to make cameos including PRETTYMUCH’s Edwin Horonet and fellow songwriting powerhouse Ali Tamposi.
