GAEREA Releases New Song, “Conspiranoia”

Speaking of the video, GAEREA comments, “Shot in the ancient Streets of Porto, Gaerea’s birth city, ‘Conspiranoia’ is much more than just an agonizing and mesmerizing voyage into the Vortex’s own Depths. Completely filled with small Easter Eggs throughout the clip which I know very few will be able to spot, the music video for the third and last ‘Limbo’ single crosses the line, the natural border between reality and the mere perception inside our memories, ‘deja vus’ and romanticizing adventures. This is Gaerea being trapped inside its own world. The Martyrs inside Limbo.”

ANDY ROCKS – new single “Digital Detox”

Melodic, maybe a little vintage here and there, straightforward and a bit dirty, but all in all good old rock music – that could be a rough description of the music of Andy Rocks.

“This is an album for the purists,” says The Loft Club frontman/songwriter Daniel Schamroth. “I’m one of those old school romantics who still practices the dying art of donning the headphones and consuming an album from start to finish via candle light, with sleeve in hand. My Morning Jacket to release new album this Friday, July 10

My Morning Jacket are releasing their new album, this Friday July 10. Out via ATO Records, The Waterfall II was massively inspired by the band’s idyllic surroundings in Stinson Beach, CA — and a sense of charmed isolation that frontman Jim James likened to “living on our own little moon.” There, the Kentucky-bred five-piece ended up creating over two dozen songs at the mountaintop studio known as Panoramic House. Though they flirted with the idea of putting out what would have been a triple album, the band ultimately decided that less would be more at the time and divided the project into two halves, releasing the first segment as The Waterfall: a 2015 full-length that earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. My Morning Jacket are now set to share the second half of the project as The Waterfall II, an unforeseen and timely continuation of a psychic and sonic journey begun long ago.
