ESPN to Air Eagles “Live From The Forum MMXVIII” on Sunday Night
ESPN will air the Eagles concert “Live From The Forum MMXVIII” this holiday weekend. The Eagles spent the majority of 2018 on an extensive North American tour with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey joining Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit. Earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike, the quintet arrived at the Forum in Los Angeles for three sold-out concerts on September 12, 14, and 15. Highlights from all three shows have now been compiled for the new 26-song live album and concert film that will premiere on ESPN this Sunday, July 5th, at 8 PM EDT / 5 PM PDT, introduced by longtime Eagles fan ESPN’s Chris Berman.

The Austin, TX-based Los Coast will release “A Change Is Gonna Come” featuring Gary Clark Jr. tomorrow. Their version of the iconic Sam Cooke song follows the psychedelic alt-soul outfit’s 2019 debut Samsara which Rolling Stone said “… nods to the funky 1970s, mixing the gospel influenced vocals of frontman Trey Privott with steady grooves, fat keyboard and clouds of reverb.” Building a grassroots buzz through their mesmerizing live performances supporting Gary Clark Jr., St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and more, NPR said, “… you might not be able to slap an evergreen label on their sound, but the five-piece will certainly get your heart rate up and set your booty for ‘shake’ in no time.” Blending a mix of genres that includes R&B, new wave, funk, and world music, Los Coast has created a sound that reflects their vast influences, weaving them into something uniquely their own.

Half Moon Run Win Juno Award, Release Two New Songs
Half Moon Run is celebrating their first Juno Award win for Adult Alternative Album of the Year for A Blemish in the Great Light. The awards ceremony took place online on Monday June 29, and Half Moon Run netted the award nominated alongside incredible albums from City and Colour, Leonard Cohen, IsKwé and Patrick Watson.
