Under The Reefs Orchestra’s, the Brussels based jazz trio, release their s/t debut album today on Capitane Records!

Some band names capture the sound they emit almost perfectly and Under the Reefs Orchestra is one such band. “The underlying poetic idea is that by drowning, being at the bottom, losing everything, we discover a new and hidden world,” says Clement Nourry. “Like walking at the bottom of the ocean.”

The Belgian trio is a band that ostensibly evolved out of the guitarist’s solo work, with him being joined by Louis Evrard on drums and Marti Melia on sax and bass to expand the sound. “My compositions became our compositions,” Nourry says.

MUSHROOMHEAD Release Music Video for “The Heresy” – New Album “A Wonderful Life” Out June 19th on Napalm

Cleveland, OH-based masked metal icons MUSHROOMHEAD are set to release their new studio album, titled ‘A Wonderful Life’, two weeks from today (June 19) on Napalm Records. Today, the band dropped the music video for their evocative new single “The Heresy”, which can be found via the link seen below. Hair-raising, dynamic, and socially-inclined, “The Heresy” is a melodic, haunting rally cry that showcases the stunning lead vocals of Ms. Jackie. Vocalist J Mann described the track as, “The soundtrack to a dystopian delirium, cinematic and surreal!”

Sondre Lerche Releases New Album ‘Patience’

Today, the Los Angeles-based, Norwegian-born singer/songwriter Sondre Lerche released his ninth studio album Patience. After living in New York City for over a decade, the album is his first since relocating to the west coast. Recorded mostly in Norway, the inspiration for this record comes from a recently discovered love of ambient music, running marathons and a quest for serenity.

Joy Downer’s Debut LP “Paper Moon” Out Now

LA musician Joy Downer has released her debut LP Paper Moon today, independently via AWAL. The 9-song album was self-produced and recorded at home over the past year by Joy and her musical collaborator and partner Jeffery Downer and is available to purchase HERE via Bandcamp – with all release day proceeds being donated to Black Lives Matter LA – and is available for streaming via all DSPs. Earlier this week, Joy Downer released the title track with a music video directed by John Knipp, which premiered via FLOOD Magazine and can be watched below.
