“”Ballad of a Young Troubadour,” taken from my forthcoming album out June 18th, The Ridge, harkens back to my early days as a travelling musician. EARTH ROT Shares New Live Video for “Unraveling Vapour of Sanity”

EARTH ROT comments: “While we can’t tour or even meet up to create a video, our good friend NJV Media has pieced this video together for ‘Unravelling Vapour Of Sanity’ from our Melbourne show of the Dread Rebirth tour in March. While we spend our isolation starving off madness, this track seems the appropriate choice.”

Listen to Bananagun’s new single “The Master”

Regarding the track, bandleader Nick van Bakel stated: “The Master is kind of about evacuating yourself from the absurd but typical life of working your arse into the ground for someone else and how no matter where you’re working or how high up the ladder you are in that world, there’s always a person up higher bossing you around or someone you’re trying to please. I just hate when people flex too much and don’t respect people; that’s what the majority of people deal with their whole life. It’s miserable and there’s no room for stuff to blossom. The trash that’s suggested in school, movies, and everything; have all your milestones planned out. You wanna make god laugh tell him you’ve got your life planned!”

Fusilier Becomes “Gay Guerilla” on “Dancing In The Street” (Brassland)

Les Nuby Readies New LP for July Release

“Of the track, Nuby says ‘This is a song about not being fooled again. And not giving up hope. Walking through fire.’ It’s an (indie) rock workout, with chiming guitar lines and driving back line setting up these harmony soaked melodies, delivered by Nuby’s persuasive vocals that park themselves in your mind and have you reaching for repeat.” – Backsteat Mafia
