Neil Finn Releases New Single ‘Find Your Way Back Home’
As the Auckland City Mission marks its centenary, it has received a special gift from one of its favourite sons. New Zealand musician Neil Finn is donating a song to the building of HomeGround – the Mission’s most ambitious project yet. He created the song – ‘Find Your Way Back Home’ – to help raise funds and awareness for the purpose-built housing and social services facility in Auckland.

Indie Pop Singer Songwriter MICHAEL BUONO Shares Spirited and Nostalbic New Single “TV”
New York-based indie pop singer/songwriter Michael Buono looks back wistfully on the agony of modern dating on his new song “TV.” Written before the crushing mass isolation of the Covid era, Buono sets up various scenarios of single life and the ensuing frustrations of disconnection. The song pivots from acoustically-inflected hopeful verses to boisterously contrarian choruses that crash sarcastically with tongue firmly in cheek. Overall, “TV” effectively triggers a nostalgic longing for the good old days of singledom and the supreme value of hanging with friends. Co-produced by Buono and Louis Benedetti at Thompson Studios in NYC, the song features Buono on vocals and all instruments (including ukulele), as well as Chris Meehan and Michael Temple on backup vocals. “TV” will be released digitally on May 29.

ENSHADOWED (Gre) “Stare Into the Abyss” @ Black Metal
Enshadowed born back in 1998. The vision of the band was to create underground black metal art in a unique level. The Scandinavian sound was the main influence but not only. Until 2001 released 4 demo releases. In year 2002 the debut was finally out. In the all next years, Enshadowed were again and again in the studio. Many EP releases recorded and released from underground labels. Enshadowed took a part in many live shows, supporting also great bands like Mayhem, Dodheimsgard, Impaled Nazarene, Dark Funeral, Nargaroth and more. The flame of creativity is still burning and the fourth full length album Stare Into The Abyss is a fact for year 2020. Odium Records is the mastermind behind the release.
Mazikeen (AU) “The Solace of Death” @ Symphonic Black Metal
MAZIKEEN started in 2013 as a solo project by Andrew Shiells. The first demo tracks created with the help of Chris Meyer (from band Aberration Nexus) who did some drums and synths. Some of these early demos released on Youtube. In March 2016 a 16 min EP was recorded at Against The Grain Studios with a number of session musicians. Vocals later done by Josh Young (from Atra Vetosus) apart from one track completed by Ashahalasin (Somnium Nox).

Grace Gillespie – My new song HUH is out now!
I wrote the lyrics to “HUH” whilst cycling to work and watching the miserable commuters dragging themselves to places they don’t want to be. The absurdity of the situation struck me and I momentarily saw the scene as if through the eyes of a child, asking – why do we do this to ourselves?
