About “Foolish Heart”, Nils Bech says: “Eight years love left in me, eight years gone now he’s free, foolish heart.. It’s the end, it’s the end, can you love me again? Foolish Heart is the first piece of lyrics I wrote after my relationship ended after eight years. I guess the song speaks for itself”
“Goddess” is a spellbinding release of strength and female empowerment spearheaded by this collective trio of talents. Commencing with an authentic Indian-inspired riff that nods to Eastern influences, the girls waste no time in injecting attitude and a bad-ass temperament. “I Don’t Stay Put, I Stay Grinding / That’s My Last Name Bitch, No Hyphen” is delivered with concise flair before the delectable layers of vocal chants make up the foundation for the track to soar. Presented as a feminist anthem of vigour, Krewella and NERVO’s production prowess overflows into a defiant, electronic-meets-pop track.
Today LA-based dream-punk band All Things Blue are sharing new single “Chad”. Led by frontwoman India Coombs (or simply, Blue) and collaborator Jon Joseph, All Things Blue traverse genres and sounds; one moment flirting with abrasive garage-punk, the next – soaring psych-pop – with “Chad” sitting somewhere between the spirited psychedelia of Melody’s Echo Chamber and the exhilarating alt-pop of St Vincent.
Drawing on a unique gift for writing songs that encapsulate and explore the human condition, ‘Repeat’ is an honest and soul bearing reflection of Sam’s formative relationships. Speaking on the EP as a whole, Charlotte reflects “A lot of change all at once can really mess with your head. It forces you to think quickly, put a brave face on and start again. This EP goes through my life over the past 2 years and leads up to the present day. From feeling frustration, loss, jealousy and hurt to euphoric love and a long awaited feeling of being content and understood not only by others but by myself as well.”

KOJ SHARE NEW SINGLE “PAMELA”
German indie three-piece KOJ share their new single “Pamela” along with a music video. It’s the fourth single from the bands Long Branch Records label debut album “HOME” coming August 21st, 2020. “Pamela” is heavily influenced by the aesthetic of movies like Drive or Blade Runner and has that very smooth vibe, which makes it the perfect track for late-night driving. The song talks about all of the contradictions that we find ourselves in as humans. We try to fix what’s not perfect, put on that make-up, try to fit the mold, manufacture a picture of ourselves designed for the perception of others. However, there is that feeling that all of these outward factors are irrelevant because they are not who we are. “I don’t feel right here in the light, ‘cause I do belong here with the night”, essentially wants to say that you are not made up by all the shiny things on the outside, but more importantly by all the little things that we try to keep in the dark too often.
TETRARCH Reveals “I’m Not Right,” First Single and Video from Upcoming Sophomore Album
Metal phenoms TETRARCH have revealed the first single and video, “I’m Not Right,” from their upcoming sophomore album, Unstable, scheduled for a fall release.
The track takes on a deeply personal meaning for Judah & the Lion’s Nate Zuercher:
“‘Beautiful Anyway’ is about the struggle to believe in ourselves and know that we’re enough even when we don’t feel like it. 2018-19 was a tremendously dark and cloudy year for myself and a few others in our lives and this song was written from the perspective of trying to shout love and truth over us. No matter how hard it gets or how alone we may feel, it is so important to trust that our people really do see us and know the goodness we bring to this world. From my experience, it is frustrating and sad to feel unseen and unwanted and to not be able to receive joy and compassion in the way that I feel like I want and need in these moments. I’m grateful for the words of this song and the brotherhood of this band that have and will continue to lift me up and help me stand in solidarity even when I don’t believe I deserve it. Life is hard but it is also so rich and its pretty rad to be able to look back on that season knowing what I know now. It is a daily fight to back away from the edge but it is worth it and I’m so thankful for this song that reminds me, no matter what I feel, I’m enough and I am beautiful anyway. The same goes for all of us. You’re not alone and the fight is worth it.”
