Video: Liife – “Blood On My Chucks”

Earning a sterling reputation in his city for his uncompromising realness, Liife is ready to reap the rewards of his hard work. Crafting an irresistible West Coast street anthem, Liife shares “Blood On My Chucks,” his new video single. Expertly riding a beat that straddles the line between old-school G-funk and new L.A. snap, Liife tells the harrowing story of his latest brush with death–one that his homie wasn’t so lucky to escape. Throughout, Liife keeps his cool, radiating the eerie calm of a man who’s seen it all: “Right there, seen my n**** get hit/He tried to run, dropped the bottle and he shattered the fifth.” In the video, premiered by L.A. Leakers, Liife tells the story of a robbery-turned-deadly, as a crew of assailants run-up on a safehouse and commit some acts they can’t take back.

Architect Within Premiere New Music Video for Single “Lost, till You” on V13.net

“Lost, till You” could seem relatively ambiguous as if it were just another relationship song…

However ,for me, the lyrics reflect redemption and a feeling of despair until Christ came into my life, and all of the different things that I tried to do to fill the void until he was present in me.

I hope that people find this song encouraging” says front man Tim Jones.

Shannon LaBrie Releases New Single, “Firewalker” on May 1

LaBrie spoke about the meaning of the song, saying “Firewalker is about that moment when you’ve just survived something and you look back over your shoulder at the struggle and realize you are a survivor and you will never be the same. Because of the struggle—not because you avoided it—you’ve become stronger, more powerful. I was in the fire, so to speak when I met Tia Sillers and learned that she was there, too. We were in the thick of it, but we weren’t broken. Now I realize we were being reborn into unbreakable Firewalkers. It was an amazing experience to sit in a room with Tia and Joe Robinson and talk about the strength we found in surviving some of the worst events in our lives.”

KILLY UNLEASHES NEW SINGLE+VIDEO “SAILOR MOON”

Heavily anticipated by his devoted legion of fans, he has teased “Sailor Moon” on social media for some time. On the track, frenetic production moves at a breakneck speed with KILLY’s bold and scorching bars. The visual, which he directed himself, manages to keep up the pace as well. The clip cuts together blissful smoked-out dreams and sweeping solo shots of the artist rapping in an ornate empty luxury mall and (literally) breaking the ground beneath him in a surreal world.

HAYDEN CALNIN Shares “Unfortunate Love” Ft. Harrison Storm; Announces Fall EP

Australian singer-songwriter and producer Hayden Calnin announces his forthcoming EP, Soon Forever, will be released via Nettwerk on September 4th, 2020. Today, he shares the first track, “Unfortunate Love,” which features longtime friend, collaborator and roommate, Harrison Storm. Hayden explains, “The song had existed for quite a while, but just as music. I kept trying to find the vocal melody and words that would help surround it and bring it to life, but nothing seemed to feel right. I decided to bring in Harrison to try some vocal melody ideas and he immediately just hit the world I was looking for. Harrison had been going through a bunch of personal change in his life and as friends we have a way of trying to push each other to channel those thoughts into music. It can be pretty therapeutic at times, and I think that really comes out in this song both lyrically and melodically.”

ABBY J Hall – Finding joy in the “Little Things”

Writing “Little Things,” I was inspired by the love between my parents – the whole second verse actually happened to them! My parents were enjoying a reggae house band at a Caribbean restaurant. My dad leaned over to my mom and joked “if they play our song [“When I Fall in Love” by Nat King Cole], we’ll dance through the room.” As soon as he finished saying that, the first note of their song started playing; they both got chills and danced around the restaurant.
