“‘Go Dumb’ is good. Originally I made the beat for my favorite artist Enya, but decided blackbear would also sound pretty cool. He sent back the hook idea almost immediately and we wrote the rest of the song over voice memos while I was in the car on the way back from San Diego last year,” says Y2K. He adds, “When it came time to fill the open verse, we sent it out to Bankrol Hayden and The Kid Laroi expecting one of them to be down. Instead, they both sent back amazing verses so I had to find a way to use everything. It was a fun song to put together and I’m very much stoked on the final version. Hope you like it!”
BAZZI RELEASES NEW SONG “I GOT YOU” TODAY!
The song came about earlier this week when, during quarantine, Bazzi decided to make a TikTok dance challenge-esk song. He wrote the song on Monday and on Tuesday started a TikTok challenge using the track. To date, the song has already received over 2 million views on TikTok across 145 videos using the song. The track comes on the heels of his latest releases, “Young & Alive” and “Renee’s Song”.

Evan Myall (Sleepy Sun) Announces Full-Length Debut
Evan Myall is the full length debut from LA based singer-songwriter Evan Myall Reiss, who performs and records under the name Evan Myall. Evan has spent the last decade playing guitar, writing songs, and touring the world with Sleepy Sun, as well as writing and recording with Fine Points. Inspired by classic songwriters like Glen Campbell and George Harrison, he set out to make an album of his own songs, informed by timeless sounds as much as the post-modern psych and swirl of his other projects.
As with all their music, the band hopes this track will serve to inspire and encourage listeners to look within themselves. “This song is about addressing how our perceptions have the capacity to create beliefs that can either fuel or douse the fire within us,” songwriter and lead vocalist Paul Nathaniel explains. “The lyrics speak for themselves: if you’re ‘tired of taking orders,’ of being bossed around by life’s relentless demands, and find yourself seeking to live a life that feels more authentic to who you are and what you care most about, ‘maybe this can’t wait.’ Maybe it’s time to act on those inklings, those whispers from your higher self.
