Well sorta… Frontman and main songwriter Younes Faltakh is the sole survivor and teamed up with ex Das Pop member Niek Meul. Yulia Niko shares ‘Manifest Of Love’ ambient podcast
Following the release of recent ep, Molly & Sally, Russian DJ and producer, Yulia Niko, returns with a special ambient podcast, designed to heal and soothe during these difficult times.
Across the EP the four-piece occupy a similar space to Happyness, (sandy) Alex G or Willie J Healey in their recourse to the stilted, slacker-Americana of Wilco and Dinosaur Jr, with a distinct beach-pop sheen adopted from their Brighton base. Their songs cover the fuzz of early-20s anxiety, a transitional phase of life, with peaks and troughs dictated by paradoxical instants of motivation and listlessness.

“Heavy Gold is a collection of our first recordings we made as Goodbye Honolulu. We recorded most of the layers completely live off the floor, with all four of us playing together in the same room over the course of two days. A few of these songs have been a part of our live set for a long time, but we have never released them across all streaming platforms before. Since we’re all stuck inside, we figured it’d be fun to share these songs from 2015 with everyone!”

Alaina Castillo Releases New Single “no vuelvas a mirar atrás”
About the song Alaina states, “‘no vuelvas a mirar atrás’ is a reminder to myself not to overthink things and not to get nervous every time good moments come because one day I may look back and regret not taking those opportunities. We can’t let those opportunities escape us. Being able to sing this song in Spanish is something really beautiful to me because it allows the message to reach others. I think about this song 10 times a day. It’s a constant reminder that opportunities should be taken at the moment they arrive, that we should forget about the past and appreciate the good times. I hope to connect with other people who speak Spanish so they can heal the same way I did through this record. I hope it will allow them to be free of anything that restricts them of being happy.”
