BOBBY KELLER has revealed his first solo track, the shredding “Reign in Fire,”

“I have always dreamed of writing a solo/shred type album and putting my own spin on things,” KELLER says. “I wanted to do something different, yet at the same time, make music that I wanted to hear. This isn’t your typical shred album, it’s heavier, and I couldn’t be any more excited for my single, ‘Reign in Fire,’ to start reaching the masses.”

Møons – Track: Moon County

The track, Moon County, is as I mentioned, the genre of moon country, haha. Sounds odd, but give it a shot, see what you think. I tried mixing synthesizers and electronic sounds with country music, and hence I call it moon country. The lyrics are about thoughts I’ve had while staying up past midnight looking out the window at the moon and the stars.

ELLA VOS REVEALS BEAUTIFUL NEW SINGLE ‘BURNING BRIDGES’ // LISTEN HERE

“‘Burning Bridges’ is about setting healthy boundaries. I’ve always struggled with boundaries and have a hard time speaking up for what I want or need. I constantly try to make everyone else feel okay, even if I suffer,” Vos says. “When I became a mom, had postpartum depression, got diagnosed with lymphoma and went through a divorce, it was clear that if I was going to survive, I needed to make some changes. I learned that taking care of myself first was the best way I could take care of the people around me.”

‘Closer’ is the second dark and dreamy alt-pop single from ZELAH

Following intimate single ‘Static’, London duo ZELAH share another simmering indie-pop track inspired by the real life experiences of the band’s lyricist Zelah Van-Gowler. With atmospheric beat loops and warbling synths, those initial vocals present a deceptively passive approach to the emotional turmoil behind ‘Closer’… that is until the explosive of sound kicks in around one minute into the song. Suddenly, Zelah expresses “don’t make me wait” in glassine yearning, in sync with a burst of digital beats and those intricate strings, all of which adds a sense of impassioned urgency.

ETERNAL DELYRIA: new album “Paradox Of The Mechanical Angel” out now

About the record, the band states: “When we started the writing process, we thought that the term imprisonment in its various connotations would be an appropriate common thread, and so we chose it. In each song, the lyrics describe a different form of imprisonment, each of which is expressed from multiple points of view: physical, as in Beyond the Veil; mental, as in The Awakening; emotional, as in Burning Bridges; ideological, as in Freely Enchained; or social, as in Dying to Live. When we commissioned the album artwork to Pierre Alain D. of 3mmi Design, we chose to represent the idea of imprisonment by means of a simple yet current philosophical concept: the human being, eternally dissatisfied, creates technology to elevate himself and feel free, without realizing that — quite the opposite — technology is actually imprisoning him. Pierre’s work was based on this concept, and reflects his vision of what has subsequently become the official artwork of Paradox Of The Mechanical Angel”.

Malena Zavala shares final single “Memories Gone” / Album due 17th April

Mazzy Star-style gothic chamber pop with a South American influence, ‘Memories Gone’ is about “mourning the loss of a memory that has faded away,” comments Zavala, who was born in Argentina but grew up in Hertfordshire. “I wrote it when making my first album, but I wanted to tie it all in with the Latino feel of La Yarará so I stripped it back to vocals and guitar added a ronroco arrangement. The ronroco is an Andean ten stringed guitar-like instrument that has a slight echo and somehow creates its own reverb, and I love the way it sounds on the track.”

Leeds based collective Gotts Street Park featuring rapper Chester Watson

Showcasing Florida-based rapper Chester Watson’s distinctively melancholy flow, the track lyrically tackles the notion of freedom in what is a brilliant slice of low fi hip-hop. This is taken from an EP which is currently in the works, following the previously released ‘Favourite Kind Of Girl’ featuring Flikka, Bad’ featuring Zilo and ‘Where You Going’ featuring Marco McKinnis.

Slow Soak’s debut-single and the video are masterpieces, as we think, which come directly from the heart, without too much thinking.

Across The Depths of Seven Lakes is crisp, cinematic, and surprisingly accessible and poppy, given his previous sonic propensity of leaning into darker instrumental coldwave territory.
