Where previous single “Fear My Society” cut a foreboding shape, and recent single “The Motor” stood out for its revved-up, uneasy guitar and bass riffs, “Container” is the band at their most complete. Guitarist and vocalist Madison Velding-VanDam’s dead-pan delivery chimes perfectly with his skewed guitar and electronic underbelly. He explains:

German indie three-piece KOJ share their new single “Thunder” along with a music video. It’s the third single from the bands Long Branch Records label debut album “HOME” coming April 24th, 2020. “Thunder” talks about those sudden changes in life that you didn’t anticipate. It’s the feeling of being completely fine one minute and next thing you know, you feel like your whole world is collapsing. Those moments that feel like a storm that is rolling in so quickly that you didn’t even have the time to prepare yourself for what’s to come. Almost mockingly and in stark contrast to the theme of the song, the music feels very light and up-tempo and more like a dance track. “Thunder” thrives on the interplay of these two opposing forces.

Delivering a genuinely fresh sound and style with his catchy hooks and sincerity, the 23-year old artist has released “Anything You Want” – the first song since announcing his signing to Interscope. “Anything You Want” is a dynamic fusion of JAWNY’s signature falsetto voice and funky guitar beats- ultimately creating an undeniably catchy love-pop song that you won’t want to turn off.

Hell, even people that far away from this music have heard about this band. Long story short, it’s impossible to overestimate Slayer’s contribution to the music.

In 2018 the band declared about ending their career and after long world farewell tour Slayer honourably left the stage.

The result of three years of experimentation and collaboration for no other purpose than shared pleasure, NOSSO RITMO marks a turning point in the story of Yuksek, that of independence and letting go. Detailing how the album came together, Yuksek explains “after the release of my last record I thought I would never do an album again, but I re-discovered the pleasure of making dance music, to share the studio with super talented and lovely artists like Bertrand Burgalat, Fatnotronic, Polo & Pan, to make a track and simply release it on my own label as soon as we are happy with it. And after more sessions with Breakbot, Zombie Zombie and all the amazing guests I have on the record, this album popped up by itself. I only wanted to make tracks with friends and I finally got an album, more easily than anything I did before. No headache, no plan, only music.”

The idea “Damn Baby” came about during a a flight for Alt Bloom. “It was written top to bottom on a plane – I still have a voice memo of me whispering the lyrics into my phone, trying not to tick off my fellow passengers.
