Maya de Vitry To Release Sophomore Record How To Break A Fall

The Reverend Shawn Amos Shares New Video “Stranger Than Today”
American roots artist The Reverend Shawn Amos has shared a new video for his track “Stranger Than Today.” The video is currently streaming via American Songwriter who writes, “After making the move from Los Angeles to Texas, Amos found himself with an abundance of freedom that he had not felt before as an artist. This new free-spirited way of life created a desire to explore his past while still pursuing his future.” Amos will release his new album Blue Sky on April 17th.
Rising Australian star Jack River is gearing up to take on the world in 2020 with her new Stranger Heart EP and extensive touring plans including a stop at this year’s SXSW and shows in Los Angeles, New York City and Toronto.
The EP is out tomorrow, Valentine’s Day, and follows up her 2018 debut LP Sugar Mountain that features platinum single “Fool’s Gold” and earned 3 ARIA Nominations and an APRA Nomination. It also follows her 2019 single “Sugar” with Peking Duk that also earned an ARIA Nomination.
BrooklynVegan is currently streaming “Creator,” the newest track from Maryland psychedelic doom unit DIRT WOMAN. The hazy hymn comes off the band’s impending debut full-length, The Glass Cliff, set for release next month via Grimoire Records.
Electro Pop Artist Blaque Rose
Blaque Rose is releasing an incredibly impressive animated video for the leading single “Silver Train” off of his upcoming EP “Super Natural” on Valentines Day! Animated by Brandi Meadows, the video uses adolescent imagery (like baby cherubs, spin the bottle, picking dandelions) to describe a point in your life when you’re hit with Cupid’s arrow hard enough that it pushes you right back into those nerves that you get as a child no matter how old you are. The song is about spontaneous crushes; that butterflies fluttering in your stomach, heart-racing feeling you can get from a person you may not even know yet.
“Our usual comfort zone has typically been slow, low and atmospheric but we really wanted to just let loose on this one with a much faster pace,” Sedey says. “All while still including those atmospheric, melodic elements to sound like an evolution of, but not a reimagining of, ORPHANS OF DOOM.”

Electrifying debut single “Love You Better” from Houston alt pop act HAUNTER
Houston based rising star pop act HAUNTER traces their roots back to 2016. Originally a studio project helmed by Enoma Asowata (guitar, synth), the band quickly evolved into a 4 piece featuring tour de-force vocalist Lucy Lenoire, bassist Mark Schroeder and multi instrumentalist Mike Ray. DESERT NEAR THE END – “Of fire and stars”
Desert Near The End always thought of themselves as a missing link. Taking their first musical steps in the Greek Metal scene of the 90’s, they grew up with the great Power/Thrash Metal bands of that era.
In January 2018, Desert Near The End entered Incorporated M. Studios in Athens torecord their fourth album “Of Fire And Stars”. This album is a culmination of everything the band draws inspiration from. It’s a Power/Thrash Metal amalgam carved with Death/Black Metal tools. It’s lyrics speaks of how fire and stars literally and metaphorically fuelled human imagination throughout history for “good and bad”. The fitting artwork for the album was created by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design). The album was released at March 22, 2019 by Total Metal Records.
