Sa-Roc Drops New “Hand of God” Single & Music Video

Today, Sa-Roc drops a new single and music video, “Hand of God.” One of the newest additions to the Rhymesayers Entertainment roster, Sa-Roc is expected to drop her debut album with the venerated independent label this spring. The music video, directed by Tommy Nova, follows Sa-Roc acting as the human subject of an art exhibit, being posed for the entertainment of her onlookers, while delivering powerful verses full of airtight wordplay and intricate lyricism over the Sol Messiah-produced beat.


Jadakiss – the New York hip-hop icon whose career spans two decades and millions of albums sold – announces today his fifth solo album, IGNATIUS will arrive on February 28th via Def Jam Recordings. IGNATIUS is titled in loving memory of Jadakiss’ manager and longtime friend Ignatius “Icepick Jay” Jackson, who tragically passed away in 2017. I have a big problem with looking to other people to fill what I feel is lacking or missing inside of me. So, I jump into situations out of loneliness. I’m digging deep and reflecting. The song is literally me singing to loneliness.”


Award-winning singer/songwriter Mark Erelli has released “A Little Kindness,” a track from his forthcoming LP Blindsided, due out March 27th via Soundly Music. “Boston-based musician Mark Erelli is known for both his songwriting acumen and his ability to bring that talent to co-writing sessions with other recordings artists,” American Songwriter said in its premiere. “For Erelli, music is a way to appreciate the world and the people in his life. And perhaps most acutely, the practice of music has taught Erelli the beauty of sublimation and reinforced the joy of helping others achieve their dreams, which, in turn, helps Erelli also achieve his.” “A Little Kindness” was penned in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting and Tom Petty’s passing. “The night Tom Petty died, I was scrolling through social media looking to commiserate with fellow fans,” Erelli explains. “Singer/songwriter Joe Pug suggested that the best way to celebrate Petty’s legacy would be to stop mourning and go write a song. I know good advice when I see it, and wrote this song in one sitting.”

oksami (Eric Gao) grew up in Los Angeles, classically trained as a pianist and celloist. It wasn’t until 2015 that he would find his passion in music production. With a love for all genres, oksami draws influences from the likes of Jimi Hendrix to Daft Punk. Currently based in San Francisco, oksami focuses on mixing the lush, fantastical vibes of electronic and orchestral music with traditionally urban genres such as R&B, hip hop, and funk.

The title of 070 Shake’s debut album is Modus Vivendi — a Latin phrase used to reference a way of life in which two opposing parties can coexist peacefully. Art has always been Shake’s way of life, whether writing poetry as an outlet for depression or crafting playful rhymes about her teammates on bus rides to high school basketball games. “It was an escape for me with all of the frustrations and voices that were going on in my head. I’ve always felt that I had to do something with these words.”

David Baron feat Will Bryant – ‘Moonlight’ out now

Will Bryant’s falsetto is reminiscent of some of the best ensemble singing of the 1970s. A choral feeling of freedom combined with fat analogue modular synthesizer melodies and psychedelic waves. The heavy bass (Bryant) and huge drums (Zack Alford) create a solid soulful basement. Will’s voice is joined by the angel Lettie at the end when they both go flying away into the universe.
