Today, the California-based group – praised by Metal Hammer as “USBM with serious forward thrust” – unveil the second taste of the new album via a lyric video by David Thelan (Suidakra, Attic) for its bludgeoning opening track, “βία.” In Greek mythology, Bia was the personification of force, anger and raw energy, and SICARIUS – whose moniker means contract killer or assassin in Latin – deftly channel all of those qualities in the song.
Search & Seizure unveil “Repeater”, new EP out in March
Kansas City-based hard rock act Search & Seizure announced a new EP earlier today with the premiere of “Repeater,” the band’s first new single since 2018, on Reignland Magazine.
“Powerful drums just melt into [singer Gene Abramov’s] booming vocals and will carry you away,” Reignland’s Ella Audrey Rae attests in the premiere for ‘Repeater.’ “I had to listen to it more than once.”

Mija has released the first single and title track off her debut full-length album, Desert Trash. The track features vocals, writing, guitar and production from Mija herself, along with additional production from Dave Sitek (of TV On The Radio and Janes Addiction). The song was written in El Paso, Texas and explores feelings of loneliness and isolation, backdropped in the stark setting of the desert.
