Hinder drummer Cody Hanson and frontman Marshal Dutton recently announced a new project called Dangerous Hippies. The band unveil their new video ‘Like A Ghost’ today. Dutton talks about the song: “Like a Ghost is a story about being out-shined and loving it!” Hanson adds: “Like a Ghost is completely different than our first release. It’s been an absolute blast to not be bound by any rules and to be able to create a totally different vibe from song to song. We’re just getting started and we can’t wait to share more!”
Pokey LaFarge Returns With “Rock Bottom Rhapsody” April 10th Via New West Records
Pokey LaFarge is set to release Rock Bottom Rhapsody on April 10th, 2020. The 13-song set is his New West Records debut and was produced by Chris Seefried (Fitz and the Tantrums). The album was recorded at Reliable Recorders on Chicago’s Northwest Side during the polar vortex of 2019 and features the guitarist Joel Paterson, keyboardist Scott Ligon, upright/electric bassist Jimmy Sutton, and drummer Alex Hall. Rock Bottom Rhapsody is LaFarge’s first album in over three years and follows 2017’s acclaimed Manic Revelations.

Dimebash 2020 Wraps With Sold-Out Crowd
Dave Grohl, members of Anthrax, Lita Ford, Cypress Hill’s Sen Dog, members of In This Moment, Chris Broderick, BMX legend Rick Thorne, and Sebastian Bach were among dozens of musicians who came together at Dimebash 2020 to pay tribute to “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, the late co-founder and guitarist of Pantera and Damageplan, in front of a sold-out house at The Observatory OC in Santa Ana, CA on January 16. The night featured Dime’s music and some of his favorite songs performed by a rotating cast of guests that also included members of Armored Saint, Bad Wolves, Butcher Babies, Crowbar, Hellyeah, King’s X, KYNG, Lamb of God, Prong, Sepultura, Stone Sour and more, led by musical director Nick Bowcott and stage manager Jessica Hill. Many additional musicians were also in attendance to honor Dimebag, including Mike Inez of Alice In Chains, Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.
