DIRT WOMAN: Maryland Psychedelic Doom Bringers To Release The Glass Cliff Via Grimoire Records

Recorded, mixed, and mastered in the fall of 2019 by Noel Mueller at the Tiny Castle in Baltimore, The Glass Cliff’s five tracks bulge with gargantuan riffs, thundering rhythms, and lyrics speaking directly to the cries of today’s youth; a fittingly titled record that’s equal parts enraged and dejected by a world whose once great promise has been decimated by the pursuit of power and material wealth.

Songstress Alex Winters Shares Gorgeous Single + Video for “Hearts on Fire”

Alex continues to develop her unique solo repertoire, reveling in a vision that is still introspective and sensitive, yet equally strong, enigmatic and haunting. With her latest EP Black Roses, Alex has added an electric edge to her acoustic singer/songwriter persona, resulting in a more blunt sound akin to Evanescence and Grace Potter, with a touch of Heart. The new record has a distinctly rock feel that brings a new dimension to her heartfelt songs without alienating longtime fans of her introspective compositions. Her stories of heartbreak, inner turmoil, and life’s complications are now told from the perspective of a woman with more edge, a dreamer who has walked a few more miles down her own road. Whether performing solo, duo, or with a full band, Alex brings a fun yet sophisticated ambiance to her live performances. Her connection to her audience is very real and her stage presence natural and comfortable. You can expect that everyone in the room will feel like they are a close and personal friend by the end of the evening.

New Music: Dan Croll returns with the release of double A-side single ‘Yesterday’ and ‘Stay In L.A.’

This follows a two-year hiatus after the release of his second album ‘Emerging Adulthood’, which saw Croll, like many in the latter half of their twenties, question the very fibre of his being; career; relationships; life choices; future; – he upped sticks and moved to L.A. on a whim and hasn’t returned. The resulting transition to life in California, going back to basics with his songwriting and taking inspiration from the music that truly inspired him (James Taylor, Burt Bacharach, Joni Mitchell), many of which are part of Laurel Canyon’s musical heritage, bore these musical fruits and a new chapter for this prolific songwriter.
