blackbear Releases New Single “me n ur ghost”

On writing the song, blackbear said: “I wrote this song literally about a spirit of my ex that sits in my room in the late hours of 2-4 am! I tried getting rid of all the belongings I had of her but she still haunts me and all the venues I play at. Go share this song with 3 friends or blackbear’s ghost ex-girlfriend will show up late night and haunt you too!”

Super addictive rock music = Anything But Human “Where You Are”

ANYTHING BUT HUMAN is an American rock band that formed in early 2019 in Dallas, Texas. The origins of the band started in 2017 when singer-songwriter Ryan Avila began working on a solo studio project for fun. The studio project caught the attention of bassist Justin Potter who had previously performed in several other local Dallas bands with singer Ryan Avila. After listening to several songs from the album – the bassist became extremely excited with the material. Eventually the two musicians decided to put a live band together to book local shows and help promote the new album in a live atmosphere. In early 2018 the solo album ‘Ode to the Outcast’ debuted online, and was distributed to several local Dallas record stores.

Virginia indie rock duo Illiterate Light has been named to NPR’s “Slingshot Artists to Watch,” with the outlet featuring them amongst just 12 other artists “sure to do big things in 2020.” NPR specifically highlighted the duo’s “energetic live shows,” during which the two play a full band’s worth of instruments. “This isn’t a gimmick,” KTBG The Bridge’s Jon Hart continued, “the music on the duo’s self-titled release holds up.” NPR previously highlighted the group in their “Best Songs of 2019 (So Far),” declaring “Carolina Lorelai” to be “an explosive mission statement from a band that’s here to stay.”
