END IT Share ‘One Way Track’ Full Stream, Out This Friday!

Today, Baltimore upstarts END IT shared their new EP, One Way Track, in full via a premiere with BrooklynVegan. Due out on January 17th through Flatspot Records, END IT’s ferocious 4 song release combines hardcore urgency with unruly punk energy. Between their whirlwind riffs, unhinged vocals and infectious grooves it’s no wonder END IT is starting to turn heads. VUNDABAR announce new album and share first track ‘Burned Off’

After a full North America tour announcement in December, Vundabar are overjoyed to announce a new album, called Either Light, in 2020. The record is the band’s fourth, and their first with producer Patrick Hyland (Mitski). It arrives 13th March on their own Gawk Records and is now available for pre-order.

The Garden Announce New Album ‘Kiss My Super Bowl Ring’ + Share New Track

The Garden (Wyatt and Fletcher Shears) have announced their fourth studio album Kiss My Super Bowl Ring due out March 13 via Epitaph. Though primarily self-produced, the album includes tracks co-produced by Dylan Brady, and Wharfwit, along with tracks featuring Ariel Pink, Khalif Jones (aka Le1f) and even a snippet from Carrot Top.

Today, the band shares a glimpse of the record with the opening track, “Clench to Stay Awake” – a track based on the experiences of both brothers’ mysterious health issues over the years.

Jack River shares her new single “Dark Star” today, a cutting song about the murky depths of infatuation that is lifted off her Stranger Heart EP – due out February 14, 2020 via Nettwerk. FLOOD Magazine unveiled the video for “Dark Star” yesterday, calling the track “…an electropop jam highlighting Rankin’s distinctive sugar-high voice—with shades of Gwen Stefani’s slightly weepy grunge—and a sultry electric guitar riff trailing Rankin’s lyrics.”

BEASTIE BOYS: Apple Lands “Beastie Boys Story” Film, Produced by Spike Jonze

Apple today announced that it has acquired “Beastie Boys Story,” a new nonfiction film from Grammy Award-winning Beastie Boys members Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz and Academy Award-winning director Spike Jonze. A special cut of the documentary feature will open exclusively in select IMAX® theatres for a limited engagement April 3, before premiering globally on Apple TV+ on April 24.

Beastie Boys, Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz, tell you an intimate, personal story of their band and 40 years of friendship in this live documentary experience directed by their longtime friend and collaborator, and their former grandfather, filmmaker Spike Jonze.

The film is set to premiere on the heels of the 26th anniversary of the release of Beastie Boys’ #1 charting 1994 album, “Ill Communication,” and reunites Beastie Boys with director Spike Jonze over 25 years after directing the music video for the album’s immortal hit single, “Sabotage.”

Trevor Daniel Releases Music Video for “Falling”

Trevor Daniel, fast rising artist from Houston, TX has today released the highly anticipated music video for his break out single “Falling.” Directed by William Desena, the video is a highly conceptualized narrative set against the backdrop of a nighttime drive through the Californian canyons interlaced with modern dancing waiters that brings to life Daniel’s sonic depiction of heartbreak.
