ICYMI: Abiyah releases contemplative, synth driven single “Mirror Flower”
ICYMI: Cincinnati, Ohio-based songstress Abiyah followed up her February 2019 release of her genre-blending single with Ceschi Ramos, ‘Champion Plaque’, with the release of her latest single, ‘Mirror Flower,’ which is available via Bandcamp, as well as digital streaming providers. On this outing, Abiyah lyrically explores some of her inner emotional contemplations and how to navigate them on a journey to strength, self-empowerment, and happiness, backed by synth-driven melodies produced by electronic musician Warren Harrison. In both its thematic lyrical content and flowing vibed-out music, somewhat reminiscent of UK trip hop group Massive Attack, ‘Mirror Flower’ is highly relatable with strong crossover potential.

The City of Scottsdale & Molina’s Fine Jewelers Sponsors Jazz Day AZ 2020 Festival (revised)
After four years of planning, Mayor Jim Lane and the Scottsdale City Council has approved funds to host International Jazz Day AZ Foundation (IJDAZF), directed by William “Doc” Jones, as the official Scottsdale Jazz Day Festival celebration. The festival will take place on Saturday April 4th, 2020 noon to 6:00 PM at the beautiful Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Fountain Stage.
Scottsdale is excited to have as its first Honorary Chair, Mr. Barry Goldwater Jr. and Alfredo J. Molina of Molina’s Fine Jewelers, Chairman of the Board of the Scottsdale Jazz Festival. Enrique Melendez, Executive Director, of the Consular Corps of Arizona will act as liaison for IJDAZF, and has joined the Scottsdale Jazz Festival Board of Directors.
