JERRY LEGER PREMIERES NEW MUSIC VIDEO VIA AMERICAN SONGWRITER
Jerry Leger has a thing for ghosts. The Toronto singer/songwriter confirmed it a couple of years ago when he went on a personal journey to explore many of Ontario’s largely unknown ghost towns, having been inspired by the writings of historian Ron Brown. Leger has immortalized one of those towns, Burchell Lake, on his new album Time Out For Tomorrow, containing 10 portraits of the impermanence of life, love, or simply catching a glimpse of a shooting star.
LILY KERSHAW Announces More Dates
Los Angeles singer/songwriter Lily Kershaw has announced U.S. tour dates in support of her acclaimed sophomore full-length album Arcadia, available everywhere now. After a few dates in Europe, including supporting Joshua Radin in Paris and London, Lily will return for shows starting February 25th in San Francisco followed by stops in San Diego, Philadelphia, New York City and Washington, DC.

Coming through with an eye-popping visual for an introspective anthem, Hare Squead shares “Meeting With Myself,” premiered by Afropunk. Built around a humble hook by Tony Konstone and an impassioned vocal by Lilo Blues, “Meeting With Myself” stresses the importance of trusting your own instincts and ignoring the fickle opinions of hangers-on. In the video, filmed in a grainy, lo-fi style by director Benny Mako, the Lilo and Tony emote in front of a colorful backdrop, showing off their unique dancing style amidst arresting camera effects. Records, “Fast and Loud.” An intense, raucous outlay of post-punk energy, “Fast and Loud” raced its way through a jagged, dark account of an imagined metropolis, capturing the attention of BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, as well as a host of tastemaker publications. Its a bittersweet experience: its the trip of a lifetime and a fitting way to say goodbye, but his absence is heartbreaking.
