Says Lous, “‘Tout est gore’ is a trap song. “Tout est gore” is when it is so bloody that it becomes funny. “Tout est gore” is about living in the fast lane. Being extra in everything you do. Like life has been an extra bitch to you so many times. Laugh at it and live faster. Twerk stronger. Because this has been your sole way to exorcize your pain since forever.”

“Gonna Be Fine,” the second single from Toby Ernest’s forthcoming album “Camino Real” has been released today, 12/6.
A Daytime Disco track soaked in dreamy pads, with a funky bass line and catchy chorus, “Gonna Be Fine” follows up Toby Ernest’s debut single “Rescue Me” which premiered on KCRW in September, followed by Toby’s feature on Kasper Bjørke’s “Water” and their cover of Alessi Brother’s 1975 classic “Seabird.”
Country artist and native Texan Joe Buchanan just released his second album, BACK FROM BABYLON. This is country like you remember it. Southern roots forward, stories that dig deep, and a little bit of honky-tonk. With inspiration from the Torah and his South Texas upbringing, Buchanan’s lyrics speak straight and true. Whether kicking back to the fast-rising steel guitar and drums, or slow cruising across the dance floor to an easy ballad, his slow drawl and sweet twang will pull you in.
Teyana Taylor – multi-hyphenate R&B superstar singer, songwriter, producer, director, dancer/choreographer, actor, fitness guru, model, mother, Harlem native – announces the release of “We Got Love,” her brand new single available today via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings. In celebration of the new single release, Teyana will be headlining her own Art Basel Miami concert series in partnership with Def Jam and Courvoisier tonight.
Multi-instrumentalist and visual artist Sarah Mary Chadwick is not a new face to Melbourne’s music community. After moving to Australia from her native New Zealand to pursue a career in music, Sarah spent a decade fronting the grunge band Batrider. Eventually becoming tired of the collaborative requirements intrinsic to band life, Sarah shifted her focus to songwriting independently, drawing inspiration from “weird old New Zealand musicians” like Peter Jefferies, Chris Knox, and Australia’s Pip Proud and the way they tinker away and work for decades for “little to no commercial success.” This inspiration is obvious in Sarah’s performance as she simultaneously savors and mocks the pedestal that her creativity affords her, acknowledging that “it’s a position of power being on a microphone” and how “it’s a desperate demand to be seen. It’s funny and really sad.”
“‘Thoughts On This’ is about gathering up the pieces of our lives, getting up to move on from a broken place. It picks up where their previous release ‘Start Over’ left off and is meant to bring comfort and hope to those who may be healing from a difficult life situation. When it’s cold and dark, turn up the lights and let’s make some noise, before we run out of time.”

MARIAH THE SCIENTIST RELEASES LONG-ANTICIPATED “BEETLEJUICE” VIDEO
“Beetlejuice,” one of several stunning tracks on Mariah’s RCA Records debut project Master, landed on Vice’s “The 28 Best R&B Songs of Summer 2019,” NPR’s Heat Check weekly roundup and sparked Pitchfork to declare Mariah as “a major new voice in R&B.” Executive produced by Tory Lanez, the 10-track EP made Nylon’s “The 15 Best Music Releases of the Week” list, while Pitchfork described it as “a layered, mesmerizing portrait of modern romance.”
Of the making of the mixtape, Yoshi recalls “Half way through making this project I woke up in the hospital. I’ll spare the details, I’m not here to glorify self-destruction. I had made some stupid decisions that led me to rethink my second chance at life. I didn’t want to let my love go to waste. These songs are a collection of confrontation; how we change as people and how we deal with love, heartbreak, depression, addiction, and the extreme gamut of existence.”

Zoë Phillips – Track: Numb
Drawing from experiences within mental health, ‘Numb’ acts as an antidote in which the pairing of direct lyricism and striking vocals creates a sound that is both soothing and instant. Featuring atmospheric guitar soundscapes, and supported by production from gold and platinum record songwriter & producer Jack Gourlay, this emerging sound could be compared to the likes of Billie Marten and Lucy Rose. This is the first of a collection of new songs inspired by Zoë’s recent solo traveling trip across the world, with further single releases in the run-up to a forthcoming 2020 EP.

The Wrecks return today with the defiant breakup single “Fvck Somebody”, available on all digital platforms. The track highlights The Wrecks’ penchant for irrepressible indie rock hooks and proves they can be pissed off and beat down but they’ll always be so, so goddamn catchy.
They say you can’t go home again, but for Matt Messore it took returning to his hometown of Cassadaga, Florida to discover a new path forward. After traveling across the country and time spent in his former group, Dear Tracks, Messore indulged his DIY bedroom pop leanings working as Cathedral Bells.
