Using a group of male street dancers, the concept of the video touches on Max at that period of time after the loss of his dad. In his own world and headspace and not being in complete control of the things around him. In the video he makes a few attempts to get away from his friends and environment but always finds himself back in the thick of it all.

Last week, South-London artist otta released her debut single ‘small hours’ to significant support from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit as their Song Of The Day, The Guardian, CLASH, Dummy and more.

Today The FADER have premiered the patchwork, skewed video to “small hours” saying that it “captures a sense of serenity and space perfectly. The interior scenes, shot in a London flat, meanwhile, offer a more manic and claustrophobic take on the song’s dueling themes.”

Self-written track, ‘Nightmares’ begins with heavy unsettling synths and an ominous bass, that instantly resembles Howard’s conflicting thoughts as he fights away his inner demons. Speaking more on the track CJ States; “Karelu is centred around appreciating past relationships, friendships and family dynamics with all their flaws, and moving forward and seeing beauty in the toughest of times. Celebrating relationships and the marks we make on one another, the items we keep and leave behind, and the stories they encapsulate.”

West Wind – ‘River’ Single

Upon the release of lead single River, Ulladulla outfit West Wind set their sights on a golden horizon of their warmly understated and deeply irresistible selection of soulful dance tracks on their EP Sundown.

West Wind are a four-piece band who distill elements of funk and downtempo dance genres into a style of dance music that tastefully balances the acoustic and electronic. Producer Marc Andrews and singer Mitch Fa’oa’s songwriting dynamic elicits the sensual juxtaposition of deep house escapism and indie- dance approachability. Sean Christopher releases live video for haunting new single ‘OHEJA’

Following the recent release of his haunting new single ‘OHEJA’, today Dutch born Bristol based singer-songwriter and composer Sean Christopher releases a beautiful live studio session to accompany the new single and featuring a number of his fury friends!

Speaking about the live video Sean says, “In this room in Bristol I recorded most of the songs for my second album, kind of to prove to myself that I don’t need a studio or a massive impressive space. Plus here I’m always surrounded by Bin and Bom (my cats) and Ollie & Chuni (my dogs). They always join in as soon as I start fiddling around.”

On-The-Go captivates with a catchy chorus on their mesmerizing track ‘High’

‘High’ is the third single from the upcoming album ‘Unsaid’ by the Russian indie pop quintet On-The-Go, featuring Naadia, an indie pop band created by a mellow voiced singer Nadezhda Gritskevich. On the track ‘High’ Yura Makarychev, the frontman of On-The-Go says: “Although lyrics for this song are not written by me, being a parent of two kids I truly understand the meaning of this topic. The first version of the song was written by Naadia for her previous Project already back in 2012. With the arrangement by Maxim (the composer, producer, guitarist and vocalist of the band), the song matured and is now being released at the right time as the best version of itself.”
