ELDEN (Swe) – release new album “Nostromo” on January 24th
Elden believes in the power of heavy metal riffs, melodic choruses and an all out head banging experience. Formed in 2012 in Karlstad, Sweden, the band started writing songs influenced by artists like Mastodon, Baroness, The Sword and classic bands from the 70´s and 80´s. They recorded and released their first demo one year later and performed on a regular basis at local venues. Come 2015, Elden released their first EP and started touring across the country.
Directed by Chloe de Brito, the video follows a seventies-style title card with visuals that evoke the earthy and entrancing nostalgic spirit of classic fantasy from the golden age of maverick filmmaking. Grainy camera captures the magic of lush forests and rolling hills as CXLOE lithely dances and sings styled in Boho chic. She immediately entrances as the track levitates from glitchy production wizardry into a gorgeous and glorious refrain.
