Lil Mexico and Lil GotIt Fight a NERF Battle with Models in a New Video

Delivering detailed street stories with candy-coated melodies, South Carolina rapper Lil Mexico has star potential. Crafting a spritely and inviting anthem for his crew, Mexico shares “Glocks & Drums,” his latest video single. Produced by Mexico’s fellow SC native JetsonMade, the man behind “Suge” and many of DaBaby’s other big hits, “Glocks & Drums” is a major-key trap anthem that makes retaliatory violence sound like the most fun that anyone can have: “We got Glocks and drums/Boy watch your tongue/My youngins out here wildin’ they be shootin’ shit for fun.” The new track features an appearance from Lil GotIt, who embellishes on Mexico’s melodies with virtuosic vocal runs. In the video, Mexico parties with a cadre of models, challenging them to a NERF gun fight at his spacious Southern mansion.

Blackberry Smoke donates $50,000 to CURE Childhood Cancer

Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke presented CURE Childhood Cancer with a donation of $50,000 at their seventh-annual “Brothers and Sisters Holiday Homecoming Show” over Thanksgiving weekend in Atlanta. Over the past six years, Blackberry Smoke has raised more than $400,000 to benefit children’s cancer research through a variety of “Brothers and Sisters” events such as the Holiday Homecoming shows, the “Brothers and Sisters Reunion Weekend” in Maryville, TN and their recent Ride For CURE event hosted by Tom Glavine, which included more than 500 motorcycle riders participating in a ride to raise critical funds for CURE.

Apple Music closed out 2019 with a special performance by Artist of the Year Billie Eilish on Wednesday evening at the Steve Jobs Theater in celebration of the inaugural Apple Music Awards.

In addition to receiving top honors as Apple Music’s Global Artist of the Year, Billie also received the award for Top Album of the Year as well as for Songwriter of the Year with her brother FINNEAS. Billie performed this exclusive bespoke show for her fans to mark the occasion and Apple Music live streamed the event in 115 countries. When introducing Billie and FINNEAS to the stage, Apple Music global creative director Zane Lowe told a packed crowd at the Steve Jobs Theater: “There are amazing artists, there are amazing producers… but there are very few who can make us think different,
