Today sees multiplatinum-selling, singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding release the video for her recent cover of Joni Mitchell’s “River.” The single was released exclusively on Amazon Music; watch the video to “River” here:
Directed by David Soutar, produced by Fulwell and shot on the UK’s coastline near Dungeness, the festive video takes inspiration from Ellie’s philanthropy work as a UN Global Ambassador – highlighting the climate crisis and the excessive use and disposal of single use plastic. The video culminates in Ellie and friends joining together to make a zero-waste Christmas tree constructed from salvaged beach litter and recycled objects. The finished tree will be donated to The Village Prep School in North London for the Christmas season, before being deconstructed and re-used in future.
