SRSQ is the solo project of singer and songwriter Kennedy Ashlyn, the founding member of the bay-area dream pop duo Them Are Us Too. SRSQ’s pulse began after the loss of Kennedy’s closest friend and Them Are Us Too collaborator, Cash Askew, in the tragic Ghost Ship fire of 2016. Driven by this sudden, heartbreaking loss, SRSQ became the vehicle for Kennedy’s transformative process for her to explore nostalgia, reflection, and reconciliation, manifesting in the aural landscape of her 2018 debut album, Unreality.

UNTIL THE STORM Releases Official Music Video for “Roads the Lost”
Santa Barbara, CA based Heavy Rock / Metal band UNTIL THE STORM has released the official music video for their debut single, “Roads the Lost.” The video for “Roads to the Lost” was directed by singer Sado Rabaudi, with editing by Sado and Gabe Ruiz, cinematography by Gabe Ruiz and Jaya Knight and features actor Alexander Ivanov (frontman for Russian punk band NAIVE). The video itself showcases the technology of blending a series of ultra short throw projectors inside of a large, warehouse sized space to create a unique environment of visualizations and color patterns. “Roads to the Lost” was Mixed by Mike Plotnikoff (In Flames, Fear Factory, Van Halen, Mudvayne, and many more) and mastered by Niels Nielson (Ghost, Starset).
“The friends and family tour is to celebrate me and Duddy knowing each other for over 10 years,” states Rome about the tour. “We both got our starts performing with the acoustic guitar and our voice. That’s it. We just wanted to get together and bring it to the fans. Really broken down and will play some new stuff we have cooking up. Hopefully, we’ll be able to expand on this and bring other singers from bands who may want to come out on the road and do this every year with us.”
