Rising star Birthh recently built on her cult following in her homeland when she recently shared her new track ‘Supermarkets’. Now she shares the video to new single ‘Yello / Concrete’ ahead of her debut London show at the Servant Jazz Quarters on December 3rd.

The new video was filmed and edited by Birthh between the Tuscan countryside and Milan and premiered on Wonderland this morning. ‘Yello / Concrete’ is the sound of an artist confidently merging sounds which shouldn’t flow together quite as naturally as they do. Birthh’s vocal is rooted in the world of neo-soul, yet the production does something very different. The intricate, hip-hop flavoured beat flows into the warmth of some organic live instrumentation which is topped by unconventional guitar line. It’s a song in which Birthh makes the unconventional sound effortless.

Brooklyn glam-punks Plaid Dracula unveils debut EP “No Reaction”

The EP premiered on XS Noize where the band shared, “This EP is a collection of songs we wrote in the last year that are all loosely themed around the feeling of there being one too many people in the room and various ways that communication can fail. It’s about not having satisfying answers to difficult situations and trying to figure out how to move forward anyway with the knowledge that the only person you’re capable of changing is yourself.”

Alexandria Maillot – new single: “Someone To Keep You Warm”

“Someone To Keep You Warm” may stem from a darker place, but it’s ultimately a dance song that doesn’t care about being serious. sometimes I get wrapped up in my own head and take what I’m doing too seriously, so I think it’s important to try and have fun. I love how cheeky music can be, and this track is exactly that.

Out Now: Electro-pop outfit Hundreds stand up to injustice in new single & video for “Ready Shaking Silent”

“I see it as feminist,” lead singer Eva Milner says about the new single, “about standing up to the bullies who impede you from finding your voice.” It exercises a dignified, elegant poise, while the tension hidden within the quiet fizz of verses sometimes recall Metronomy with the unfurling of its delicate chorus. Milner’s vocals add to its subversive appeal, as they successfully mask lyrics like “I will rip your words/Out of your pretty mouth… I’m setting fire to your scalp”.

“Runaway Heart” is about being out on the road and missing someone back home. deFrance states that “the song was written while we were out on one of our West Coast tours in California in 2017. Ladygunn Premieres Sarah Jaffe’s “Important” Video

I consider Sarah Jaffe a spoken word artist, expressing her every thought in her new song “Important” against a soft synth beat. The song comes on the heels of her brand new EP, SMUT. The songstress opens the song by singing, “You don’t shock me/but you surprised me”. The EP deals with new found freedoms of living on her won and the independence that comes along with it. “A lot of times with writing, there will be this gestation period where certain lyrics/melodies live in my head for way too long before they make their way out. But “Important” attacked me outta nowhere,” says the singer. Jaffe also wrote a song off Eminem’s MMLP2. Check out the video for “Important” below directed by Dani Okon.

ZINNIA releases new album “Sensations In Two Dot”, shares focus track

“ZINNIA’s debut album Sensations in Two Dot focuses on moments of doubt – creative, societal, and personal – exploring what it means to hold compassion through the multifaceted, grey areas of life. Whether in the isolated town of Two Dot, Montana (population 143) or the buzzing streets of Toronto (population 2.6 million), these nine songs probe the complex, unsettling similarities found in the human experience: the hauntings of unrelenting dreams, tensions and tender triumphs in relationships, systems of abuse threaded through communities, and the search for compassion and visibility in everyday interactions.” – Raechel
