Skope Magazine // Rachel Lynn – “Look to Me” (New Single)

Lynn shares, “‘Look to Me’ is about trying to be a source of support for someone who’s struggling with their inner demons. Sometimes those demons can try to take over a relationship, and it’s a difficult battle for everyone involved. Musically, the song as a retro-pop vibe, so my producer, Ali Culotte wanted to mix it as a modern-pop song with a nod to earlier eras.”

Koala Queen’s “Time” is now

“Time” is Koala Queens’ second single, out now, from the upcoming album The Muppet Show. The track is about finding release from frustration, being allowed to feel content and daring to jump into new challenges. It carries a strong and distinct personality, with a chorus that is almost impossible to rid yourself of hours later. The rough but simple guitars against the heavy bass drum give it a Friday night feel, while keeping the band on track with it’s organic rock & roll aura. The organ finishes off the whole mood, allowing the vocals to dance playfully throughout the entire three minutes of good vibes.

Sleave’s Debut Album ‘Don’t Expect Anything’ Out Now

“Richmond, VA’s Sleave brings together elements of alternative rock, punk, and American hardcore while also being reminiscent of the American grunge and emo movements of the 90’s…constantly shifts your expectations and impressions… manages to simultaneously remind of you of artists that you wouldn’t normally put together, shifting between indie and punk rock and resembling a collision between Editors, Gaslight Anthem and the Smoking Popes. The melodic and introspective side of indie is artfully blended with punk and hardcore aggression, something that surfaces in the tracks without warning…”- The Punk Site

SHORELINE MAFIA DROPS “WINGS” VISUAL

Tearing up functions with their heavy-hitting hedonism, L.A.’s favorite rap collective Shoreline Mafia deliver banger after banger. Giving the visual treatment to the opening track from their recent Party Pack Vol. 2 EP, Shoreline Mafia shares the video for “Wings.” Produced by D.A. Doman (Tyga’s “Taste,” Kodak Black’s “ZEZE”), “Wings” is an addictive, speaker-knocking slapper, carried by Doman’s signature manipulated vox and OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin’s DGAF witticisms: “This your b*tch? She the homie b*tch/On Instagram we flex your homie sh*t,” rhymes Fenix Flexin. In the video, premiered by Complex, Fenix and OhGeesy hole up in a tropical mansion like Pablo Escobar, counting cash in the presence of a cadre of female bodyguards. Last night, Shoreline hosted an event for their most-devoted superfans, offering them a first look at the “Wings” music video and a chance to meet their idols.

NovaBound premieres “Under The Sun” via Northern Transmissions & announces debut LP ‘Sevenths’

“”Under The Sun” is part of a break-up album called Sevenths that loosely mirrors the stages of grief during it’s run-time. Here we have anger (or at least my best attempt at it being angry). I’m being judgmental towards some choices that were made but truth be told things stopped being my business very quickly. It got rather dark after the split so I offer a prayer in verse two although I can’t help myself from being passive aggressive. California is actually Florida in real life, but California is a lot more catchier.”
