Brooklyn’s CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC Premieres Official Video “Second Sight (The Seer)” @ CVLT NATION
As promised, instrumental Post-Doom quartet CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC will release their sixth album on October 31, 2019, on Halloween. The new record ‘Second Sight’ features two 20-minute songs on two sides of vinyl and is the second of two CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC records out this year.
Consider ‘Second Sight’ to be Part 2 of a two record set, which sees the band maintaining their “Riffs Rule All” credo, with added doses of introspection by way of mixed tempos, spacy interludes, jazzy breaks, and epic finales that started with ‘Evil Eye’. As with its predecessor, each song is divided into three parts and explores the worlds of Lesser and Greater Magic, as inspired by The Theory and Practice of Satanic Magic, which is part of The Satanic Bible.
JS Williams – “Hôtel Des Arts”
“The video for my new single, “Hôtel Des Arts,” is very closely related to the story of the song and directors Kristina Wagenbauer and Filip Piskorzynki were able to encapsulate this story in a beautiful and poetic video where the main character is played by the incredibly talented Juliette Gariépy, a Montreal-based actress.”

ings shares heartwarming dual single, “Best Friend Meditation” & “Amelia”
Words from Inge on the songs:
On “Best Friend Meditation”: “I believe that friendship is vastly under-appreciated as a cultural value, so this meditation is meant to focus awareness on a best friend in your life, and to imagine yourself being fully seen and loved by them, and they you.”
On “Amelia”: “This is a love song for a friend, because I think friends deserve more love songs, don’t you? There is an art to being a supportive friend: being there for someone without making it about you.”

Oscar Jerome – Lizard Street (Kamasi Washington, Kokoroko)
Picking up on what’s been a busy few months for Oscar, ‘Lizard Street’ and the recently-released ‘Live In Amsterdam’ album both go to show exactly why the singer, songwriter and guitarist has become such a key name on the London jazz circuit, even though following his own singular, more soulful trajectory. He’s collaborated on stage or in the studio with the likes of Kamasi Wahsington, Shabaka Hutchings, Lianne La Havas, Yussef Dayes and Joe Armon-Jones (Ezra Collective) and consistently sold out shows in the capital, most recently Village Underground and EartH. On top of that, he also recently starred in the campaign for the new ‘All Together Now’ collection by Stella McCartney (who also happened to provide the wardrobe for this ‘Lizard Street’ video.)

Boman explains the genesis of this poignant ballad, saying “This is the last song that I wrote for the album and to me it’s a special one. I played it for Patrik one day in the studio and we got inspired and started to play around on his old synths and recorded the whole core of the song that same day. We listened to Elvis Presley’s beautiful recording of ‘Blue Moon.’ Patrik has this old 50’s mic that I fell in love with- that I actually think is meant for drums- that we recorded my vocals on.”
Cologne, Germany’s COMA Share Surreal Video For New Single “Spiracles,”
“‘Spiracles’ was finished really quickly because it sounded great from the beginning. As soon as we put in the vocal part, the whole arrangement was already made,” says Marius Bubat of COMA. “We like that the lyrics seem to reflect a certain feeling that people have about our environment, even if I wanted to write down a feeling that reflects human behaviour in general. When we played it to people, some of them even thought the song is about the problem of bee mortality.”
