Gryffin Premieres New Single “Body Back” Ft. Maia Wright
L.A.-based artist/producer Gryffin has shared the latest single from his forthcoming album Gravity: a full-hearted and feel-good track titled “Body Back,” featuring Swedish singer/songwriter Maia Wright. The highly anticipated full-length debut from Gryffin, Gravity will be released via Darkroom/Geffen Records on October 24th.
FYRHTU: “Men Come Hunting” Premiered At Cvlt Nation
Cvlt Nation is hosting the premiere of “Men Come Hunting,” the lead single from Oakland, California-based ambient-electronic folk project FYRHTU, and their expansive debut, No More Days In The Light. The band, formed in the past year by members of Vastum, Hammers of Misfortune, Cardinal Wyrm, and more, will release the album in early November.

Spearmint have announced the upcoming release of new album ‘Are You From The Future?’ for November 1st on hitBACK label.
DANA REXX RELEASES A SPECIAL COLLABORATIVE EDIT OF TIME FLIES
You might not know it but you have heard Tommy Denander play the guitar more than a couple of times in your life. A true virtuoso he has worked alongside artists like Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires, Deep Purple, Ricky Martin, BB King, Anastacia, and the list goes on. His guitar riffs can also be heard in “Glee” and in movies like “Gorilla’s In The Mist” and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”.
Now Dana Rexx joins forces with Tommy for this special Guitar Edit of her latest single “Time Flies” that brings a touch of Rock to the track and breaths new life into the classic by Vaya Con Dios. Although this is a cover, Dana has reinvented the song in a completely different genre while emphasising the dark atmosphere of the original.

Where her debut Young Men—a left-field album that announced her arrival fully formed —sounds like an artist flush with the confidence of youth, brooding and urgent, Holiday is a reflection of maturity, of worn-in and worn-down experience. There’s the lullaby “Are You Dreaming”: “‘Every day comes once then it’s over,’” Barry quotes from the song. “That’s what I tell myself.” On “Big Universe” she digs into her search for a higher power, AKA horoscopes: “I needed to know what to do. I’ve always experimented with my spirituality.” Her favourite is “I See Morning,” whose refrain laments, “Looking at the world / nothing ever happens.” The slow-burning, dramatic closer, “Stop The Train,” is a metaphor for whether pursuing music was still worth it at all: “I took a long look behind me / you’re gone.”

Cold War Kids have released a video for “Beyond the Pale,” a new song from their forthcoming album NEW AGE NORMS, 1. The song, co-written with Mikky Ekko (Rihanna, Clams Casino), is a piano ballad that features lead singer Nathan Willett at his most emotionally bare as he shares the universal tale of a life spent on the road away from his family.
