Three years in the making, “Better Than Ever” is a satisfying explosion of funk-pop sounds, fusing uplifting lyrics with a dynamic beat and soul-flavored melodies. Although this charismatic production is a departure from the duo’s signature sound, “Better Than Ever” is the perfect suitor for the powerful, unmistakable vocals of Aloe Blacc – the man behind viral 2011 smash “I Need A Dollar” and the 2012 Avicii classic “Wake Me Up”.
