Dan Luke And The Raid Release Debut Album “Out Of The Blue” Today
Dan Luke and The Raid have released their debut album, Out of the Blue, today via New West Records. The 10-song set was produced by Bradley Shultz of Cage the Elephant, engineered by Jeremy Ferguson at Battle Tapes Recording in Nashville, TN and mixed by Ben Baptie (U2, Mark Ronson, The Growlers). From their appearance at Bonnaroo in 2018, Rolling Stone has already called the Bowling Green, KY-based outfit a “fully-formed-on-arrival band,” saying they “have a brand of garage-surf-meets-Floyd psychedelia that’s all its own.” Entertainment Weekly has also stated, “The group’s clangy music feels somehow both retro and futuristic,” comparing them to “The Beatles at their “Helter Skelter”-heaviest.”

“I was inspired to create and record my version of ‘RWTD’ because I knew it would challenge me in new ways,” says Jennifer Hope. “I re-imagined the song with a mood and vibe that is significantly unlike the original. elbow Release New Album ‘Giants Of All Sizes’ Today
‘Giants of All Sizes’ was recorded at Hamburg’s Clouds Hill Studio, The Dairy in Brixton, 604 Studios in Vancouver and Blueprint Studios in Salford, with additional recording taking place at various band member’s home studios in Manchester. Lead singer and lyricist Guy Garvey describes the album as “an angry, old blue lament which finds its salvation in family, friends, the band and new life.” It is a record that lyrically takes in moments of deep personal loss whilst reflecting its times by confronting head-on, the specters of injustice and division not just in the UK but across the world. It is a record that could only have been made in the 21st Century.
Detroit Raised Artist, Yoshi Flower Releases New Track “Addicted” Today
Genre-blending, alt-pop/rock artist, Yoshi Flower shares new song today. “Addicted” is the latest to come from Flower since his track “Rolling Thunder,” which followed his summer mixtape Peer Pleasure. The mixtape, described by Rolling Stone as the “perfect album” for a “smooth summer soundtrack,” revolved around the question “what are things that would make me [Yoshi] happy?” Some of his choices included love, coffee, and space, all which are titles of tracks from the tape. While pushing out music Yoshi also played countless amount of shows including headlining dates, opening spots for artist such as Dua Lipa, Elohim, and Epik High, as well as secured slots at major festivals including SXSW, Lollapalooza, and Made in America.
