Unfolding the essence and the missive of “Fever Dream” further, All Wrong collectively adds: “This is a song about fever experiences, which involves insomnia and delirium: how our mind creates stupid obsessions of unreal things and how we cannot avoid them. The painful feeling of trying to sleep and not being able to achieve it or the appearance and the increase of the current problems you have to deal with in the present are the main ideas in the lyrics, which we wanted to express with the overall track”.

New album // ONE HIGH FIVE (LA pop punk)

Musicians rarely open up and share these feelings. One High Five founder and primary songwriter David Sauer is an exception. His band’s latest, Beardlip, was made during a mass exodus with David handling the bulk of the production and with some help from friends and local scene characters. On the album, David explores his experiences of enduring 5 lineup changes—a total of 20 members—over the course of only two records. Yet, by just listening to the imaginatively-arranged, arty, hook-laden music inherent in this collection, you feel like the indie-punk party will rage on, even if David is the last man standing.

[Album Of The Week] “The most noticeable thing about Lonely Soul is the vintage tones. Press play and visions of smoking indoors with some whiskey on the rocks come to mind. It’s the kind of music that travels through time while taking from the era where it was born and turning it into something fresh. Make sure to get your hands on this debut.” – Rob Duguay, MEDIUM

“Growing up in the industry, I struggled with my transition from ‘young girl’ to ‘woman’ in front of the world. However, as time goes by, I think people now understand that while the ‘angel’ they first met is still a part of me, my experiences up until now have unlocked a level of maturity and growth that reflects the woman I am today. As I continue to own my sound, identity and expression, I guess you could consider me the Industry’s ‘Mala Santa’ – The Angel who can be bad, sometimes,” expressed Becky G about her new album.

Although this track is a departure from R3HAB’s usual sound, the genre-crossing single is one of his most masterful to date.
