One of the breakout stars of Brooklyn’s drill scene, Sheff G is the next rapper to blow out of the Five Boroughs. Coming through with an ice-cold debut mixtape, Sheff shares The Unluccy Luccy Kid. Rhyming with a booming bass voice and a unique stylistic inflection, Sheff G is known for his lyrical realism, rhyming in vivid detail about his neighborhood and his rise from poverty to prominence. On The Unluccy Luccy Kid, the 20-year-old rapper gives fans a glimpse into his state-of-mind, exploring the events that started him on the path to rap relevance, and refining his sharp storytelling instincts. With an appearance from Mozzy and multiple appearances from Sheff’s frequent rhyme partner Sleepy Hallow and with the bulk of the production handled by Great John, who provides a diverse array of soundscapes, ranging from the minor-key piano and eerie vocal samples of Brooklyn drill to Caribbean-influenced sonics, The Unluccy Luccy Kid arrives via Winner’s Circle / EMPIRE.
