Los Angeles-based Blame Baby are set to release their raucous debut single “Headcase” digitally on September 20. Consisting of Jesse Johnson on lead vocals and guitar, Omar D. Brancato on bass and backing vocals, and Matt Tucci on drums and backing vocals, the band seamlessly blend high intensity, punk-inflected rock with masterfully melodic flourishes. Produced by Frederick Thaae (Kate Nash, Saint Motel, The Glorious Sons), “Headcase” is a dark yet exhilarating musical statement of intent for the new band. Thematically inspired by Johnson’s younger sister Grace, the band effortlessly tackles legitimately dark themes of self-realization and identity confusion and offers them up within a striking power pop framework.
“Wasted Luv,” was produced by Grammy-Nominated producer Morgan Taylor Reid (Marshmello, Jack & Jack, CHROMEO), and is co-written by DAYVID and Reid. The single was mixed by DJ Swivel and mastered by Chris Gehringer. “Wasted Luv” is released by DAYVID Music with AWAL being the global distributor.

The hit single “Lightning Tent” was a nation wide radio success injecting Wildlife’s signature sound into everything from beer commercials to Hollywood films. They pushed forward with Age of Everything in 2016, jumping to the top of indie rock playlists the internet over, amassing over 10 million streams.
ANNA CLENDENING SHARES NEW SINGLE “IF I’M BEING HONEST”
Continuing to engage listeners on an intimate level with unfiltered candor, Los Angeles based pop singer-songwriter Anna Clendening reveals her new single entitled “If I’m Being Honest” today via East West Records.

The long wait is over – Robbie Robertson’s eagerly anticipated new album Sinematic, is out today, September 20, via UMe. The legendary songwriter’s first new studio album in eight years was inspired by his decades of creating and composing music for film and is filled with gripping tales of villainy and vice, mobsters and gangsters embroiled in corruption and crime, melancholy stories about destruction and devastation and a pair of deeply personal songs about The Band and the youthful dream that launched his wildly successful six decade-long career. The evocative 13-song collection, which plays like a series of mini movies, builds on Robertson’s celebrated solo works while pushing his songwriting into exciting new sonic territory. Sinematic is receiving rave reviews:
“An album of story-songs set to the sort of diaphanously blues-rock that characterizes Robertson’s sleek, expansive film music… Robertson’s guitar is a voice that always rings true.” – Rolling Stone
“The Band legend’s first solo album since 2011 is a blockbuster.” – MOJO
Calyx & Teebee Present ‘Made in Detroit’
The Plates series from Calyx & Teebee has seen them strip back todays music conventions and release records in a format which draws full attention to each innovative part of the project. For its fourth chapter, they’re about to deliver ‘Made in Detroit’, a track which has already garnered chaotic reactions from audiences, especially when dropped at this years Boomtown festival. It’s a take on the classic sound through the lens of Calyx & Teebee and a cut which hints at the duo’s antiquity. With techno influences being a driving force behind ‘Made in Detroit’, although switched to a hammering drum & bass tempo and given the expert Calyx & Teebee moniker, you’re brought into patches of twisting, grappling bass and bleeping, atmospheric stabs, building to create an immersive landscape. Following the seven-minute journey ‘Look to the Skies’, ‘Made it Detroit’ continues the same ethos of Plates but through a different sonic spectrum whilst still holding their impeccable standards. Prepare, once more, to be pulled into the world of Plates.

Little wonder: her self-penned lyrics tell of love and its origin, whether in desire, loneliness, or obsession. Her music, as spacious and acoustic as it is epic and orchestral, is at the service of her expressive voice. A vocal instrument imbued with feeling and experience – the Paris-based Yara has lived several lives – and something more mercurial, something glimpsed.

“a musical translation of my inner and physical world. I personally love reverb-drenched music and sounds, drawing inspiration from my dream world, the misty forests, and Swedish folk music.”
Musician, author and entrepreneur, Noah James Hittner, was born and raised in the beautiful driftless region of the rural Midwest, where his work has led him to appear on both radio and network television.
J.P’s lyricism can be described as combining slick metaphors with a personal backstory. ‘Over’ is no exception, it’s a single that was influenced from ups and downs with someone J.P thought he could have had a future with. It’s a mixture of the feeling you get of putting in effort and getting mixed messages back.
