For Youth Empowerment // Millie Turner – “Ride This Train”
All on board for Millie Turner’s unique brand of indie-pop on latest single, Ride This Train, that’s packed with the spirited message to the youth (& herself), that although you may feel at times like a lack of experience leaves you helpless in a fast moving world, but you needn’t worry; you’ve got this one.
Dario Margeli – ‘Suffering is Optional’
Guitar players that have played on this recording include Hugh Williams from Florida and Philip Ockelford from Great Britain. The recording has a gentle groove that is neither fast nor slow. It has a real bass guitar that gives the recording warmth and motion. The song has self-help and motivational lyrics that talk about the benefits of being attentive of our thoughts to allow only the ones that are beneficial to us to stay around. We can do without thoughts that make us suffer. The teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer and Shakti Gawain are present in the lyrics.
Today, Academy Award® nominated actress and multi-platinum recording artist Hailee Steinfeld has returned with a new song, “Afterlife (Dickinson)” from the upcoming Apple TV+ series Dickinson, in which she stars and serves as an executive producer. “Afterlife (Dickinson)” highlights Hailee’s infectious and ethereal vocals against a synth-heavy, percussive beat.
“Each of these tracks portrays a particular mental or emotional state throughout the process. From the delivery of the news through the results of the craniotomy; from the radiation treatment’s side effects to the overall issues that arose from this procedure (mild loss of speech/memory, behavioral changes, and simple-partial epileptic seizures with various aura types).”
Zimbabwean-born, Newcastle-based Art-P brings a joyful exploration to pop. His exuberant delivery is unbridled in this celebration of song and self. Beyoutiful is a bold and expansive introduction to this young artist

PLAZA return with ‘BOLOSTITCHER’ ahead of new EP on CLUE Records
It’s easy for bands to write obliquely, wavering around heavy points reticent to tackle them head on – which is more than understandable, as so much artistic inspiration comes from a deeply personal well. This time around however, explosive Hartlepool post-indie quartet PLAZA refuse to compromise in expressing their truth. With an upcoming sophomore EP, ‘Wernotplaza II’ EP dropping via Clue Records (Crushed Beaks, Van Houten, Avalanche Party, TRASH), preceded by lead single ‘BOLOSTITCHER’, vocalist Brad Lennard opens up:
“Set fire to all that you hold dear, so you don’t have to face your fears,” sings vocalist Joshua Alvarez (Halo of Snakes) in reflection of moving past the things that hold us back. After playing in numerous bands around Philadelphia over the years, the members of Crossed Keys bring their varied experiences together to create a unique, driving melodic sound.
The Berlin based duo drops some heavy bass lines with storyline synths on the A1 Floppy, taking you to a time when you were high on the dance floor; your eyes closed, the lights still shining through your lids. The bells ring in angelic exasty rounding off the title track to be a sure instant classic named after their party series Floppy Drive. The EP embodies 90’s dance culture. Marlon Hoffstadt pumps up the drive and adds the depth that only a seasoned raver could reference, making you feel like a Sonic the hedgehog speed walk.
