Spilling with tales of melancholy and vulnerability, Georgia Mulligan today offers her impassioned sophomore EP ‘Mirror’ which she’ll officially launch next week at a one off show at Golden Age.
Written and recorded in the space of two years on bedroom floors and many recording studios from Western Australia to Sydney, ‘Mirror’ is the culmination of emotions: trust, disappointment, disconnection, hope, anger, frustration and tenderness. Mulligan offers an empathetic explanation, saying “The songs contain my reactions and observations, ‘unfiltered’ but by nature slightly warped – like the reflection we see in a mirror, there is no real ‘true image’ yet we seem to constantly seek it.”
