Kacy & Clayton To Release “Carrying On” Produced By Jeff Tweedy October 4th

Kacy & Clayton will release Carrying On via New West Records on October 4th, 2019. The 10-song set was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and recorded by Tom Schick at The Loft, Wilco’s recording studio & rehearsal space in Chicago, IL. Carrying On follows the international acclaim for their previous records Strange Country (which Q Magazine called “A beautiful album that nudges a classic past into a brave future”) and 2017’s The Siren’s Song (described by Uncut as “Ageless and beguiling. A classic record for this or any other time.”).

Released on September 5th 2019, ‘Faith’ is a song covering the themes of trust and loyalty. Specifically focusing the broader community of youth not finding their path in life. In addition to his own experiences with finding faith in music and work ethic. This is a single going towards Acchy’s debut album. The song was produced by H3 Music and mastered by Jeremy Rouch. A music video was shot by EP Group and holds a dark and strong tone.

Milan Records, an imprint of Sony Music Masterworks, announces THE LIGHTHOUSE (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK) with music by Gemini and Genie-Award winning composer MARK KORVEN (Cube, The Witch, Into the Tall Grass). Available Friday, October 18, the soundtrack features music from the Robert Eggers-directed horror film and is composer Mark Korven’s second collaboration with the director following his score for Eggers’ directorial debut The Witch. Starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, A24’s The Lighthouse made its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and premieres in theaters Friday, October 18 (NY/LA) with expansion to follow.

Beginning production in early October in Montreal, Lee Daniels will direct and produce THE UNITED STATES VS. BILLY HOLIDAY, a new feature film about the legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday.
